now i very bored, got nothing to do, so come here to blog.

friday i went to queensway shopping centre again, this time with jq to buy his street soccer boots. and he bought exactly the same pair as mine, the yellow green AA one. haha.

i bought stuff again too! i bought a pair of adidas running shoes, and a pair of teva sandals!

and the best thing is i 杀价 until very shuang.

the original price of the adidas running shoes is $151.80

so i just randomly ask the guy can be cheaper a not. he quote me $106! omg i was so shocked. i thought at most he will quote 120 bucks. but hiding my surprised and pleased expression, i lion open big mouth, and ask him 105 can a not, but he say cannot. so 106 it shall be lah. i think its quite a good price.

as for the sandals, i bought them from another shop. the original price is 119. i ask for discount too, and the salesboy quote me 84. i ask whether 80 can a not, and he go ask his boss, so i wait for him for a while. and he came back, and say can! yes!

in just a few days, i spent 69 bucks on the street soccer boots, 106 bucks on the running shoes, and 80 bucks on the sandals. that totals up to 255 bucks! nvm i am going to claim 150 bucks from my parents as my birthday hongbao money. they still haven give me yet. haha.

yesterday and today i accompany darling in hall.

i realised that pgp got a new food court! and inside the food court got many interesting stalls! got a pastry stall that sells delicious looking donuts, cupcakes and swissrolls, a cheese prata stall which originate from the fong seng cheese prata shop, a chomp pang nasi lemak stall, a hk cafe stall, and the best thing is... ...

got a aston western cuisine stall! the original shop is at katong, and is very famous for western food, especially the steaks, and always got a long queue outside. so we ate the food there for lunch! we ate lemon lime chicken and grilled black pepper fish! they really taste good! the chicken is soft, tender and juicy! the fish normal normal only. so chicken wins. haha.

the weather is super hot this few days! i keep pespiring non-stop! why cant it rain?! =(

omg 一转眼 nov is going to be over soon! which means i only left with one month of holidays! when i come back from sabah, i only left with one week!

jia lat jia lat... i got so much stuff to do, yet i haven even start on a single one yet. haiz... guess that my bad habit of procrastinating will nv change.

grad nite

tonight i went to the sch's grad nite.

it was held at furama hotel.

when i stepped into the lobby, was greeted by students, some i recognised, some i dun. =p

they really look very very different without their uniforms! the ladies were elegant, and the gentlemen were handsome. in short, most of them really dress very well, and they really look glamarous, which suits the theme of the grad nite, which is "glitz and glam".

anyway i din bring my camera, cos i think this is the nite for students, not teachers. some more i am new in the sch, and i noe very few graduating students, compared to the other perm staff. so its a bit weird lah, if i bring a camera and go around taking photos. but i still got take a few pics with some of the teachers. :)

so if pple like ang hanwei wanna see how chio my students look, sorry to disappoint you. =p

the teachers were very well dressed too! normally i thought teachers will be dressed not as glam as the students, but some of them dress much nicer than the students! some of the female teachers even go and make their hair, and they look very different and nice. i am the most under-dressed, haha. i wore a black shirt, black pants and black shoes. but thinking that they see me in pe attire almost every day, i think its very formal for me already to dress like that. haha...

the pple in my table were kah kin, mdm lim chu toh, denna, felicia, maggie, cindy, wendy, shufen and thomas. so i am the youngest in that table.

and when it comes to playing table games, it comes to no surprise that i am the one being sabohed to represent the table. -_-'''

so i am supposed to find 8 items:
1) a green/yellow tie
2) black vest
3) white high-heels
4) any credit card
5) portable mirror
6) white spectacles
7) black shawl
8) lipstick

and with these 8 items, i must wear them on me, and do a catwalk.

we were given ten min to find all these items. so when the time starts, all of us quickly go and gather the items. my table is super on ok, and the funniest thing is that we are actually teachers, not the students!

even the emcee said, "hey come on everyone, look, the teachers are having more fun than all of you!"

haha!!!

and in less than ten min, we succeeded in getting all the items!

1) yellow tie - kah kin grab a piece of yellow paper, which is actually the paper where the menu is written on it, and he draw a shape of a tie. -_-'''

2) black vest - i borrowed it from the manager of the restaurant! and he was so kind to lend it to me! :p

3) white heels - they belong to wendy. haha. i cant possibly wear them, so wendy thought of a brilliant idea. she tell me to take off the shoe lace from my shoe, then she tie both shoes with the shoe lace, and strap them over my neck.

4) credit card i have. the nus debit one. haha.

5) portable mirror from felicia.

6) white spectacles from kah kin.

7) black shawl from mdm lim.

8) lipstick from shufen. she applied the lipstick for me on my lips, and even use the lipstick to draw on my cheeks! omg...

once all the items are ready, felicia and thomas help to wear them on me. haha i feel like 大明星. =p

then thomas said, "eh, i dun care ah, our table must win ok!"

hahahaha!!!

in the end our table din win. another student win. but well it is supposed to be their nite lah, so its ok to let them win.

but i can say i get the most cheers. :)

there was a special performance from one of the graduating students! he noes how to beat-box! and he is damn good! he really wow-ed the crowd!

to end this post, let me wish the graduating students, especially the ones that i taught, to do their very best in their future studies and career, and able to achieve the goals that they had set for themselves. and also wish them to get flying colors for their o level results!

tuesday post

today spent the day quite fruitfully.

first i went to sch to finish all the experiments. and we did complete everything! yay! now its left the editing of the videos! money coming to my pocket already! :)

after that went to the lib to borrow some travel books on sabah and japan. just flipping thru the pages make me super excited and super looking forward to both trips.

i am going to enjoy the outdoor hot spring, with snow flakes falling on my head and face, and sipping a cup of hot sake! wah really is 人间享受.

the next two days will be fun-filled!

tomorrow i will be going to sing ktv with some of the teachers!

and thur night i going to the sch's grad night! although its a function solely for the students, but go there can dress nice nice and eat good food, and teachers no need to pay a single cent! how shiok is that? btw a grad nite ticket cost 60 bucks. haha... =p

anyway during my sec sch and jc days i've never went to prom nite or grad nite before, for watever reasons that i forgot already. so just go for the grad nite on thur and feel the atmosphere also good.

bought new shoes!

this morning went to queensway shopping centre with terence and colin to look for nice jerseys for the sepak takraw team.

we saw this very nice kappa jersey, which cost thirty-five bucks for the top, the shorts, plus the number printed at the back. quite worth it i think.

there are a few other choices too. a FBT jersey full set that cost $30. and a umbro jersey full set that cost $38. but i still like the kappa one.

and i bought a new pair of street soccer boots!

ah gong's birthday

at night went to celebrate my grandpa's 84th birthday.

i always love big family gatherings like this, not only can i catch up with my relatives, i also can play with my young and cute cousins. they are simply adorable. :)

this is one of my cousins. i forgot his name already. cos there are just too many of them, and i dun see them often, so i always keep forgetting who is who. i noe the names, but i dunno which name belongs to who. haha.

omg today i had been eating good food the whole day! and guess wat? my relatives ask me why i teach pe and yet i am so fat. =p

dad is back!

finally my father is back!

initially there were fears that he can only come back on sat, or worse still even next mon, but heng heng he is back today!

so just now i went to the airport to pick him up.

when i saw him he was dressed in a grey suit, with a pair of cool shades. he really got that celebrity aura. then at the airport got a group of aunties, and they keep saying "wah 大导演" in excited voices. haha...

his 作品 includes 铁三角 (the latest movie that is showing in sg right now), 七剑, 黄飞鸿 movie series, 英雄本色, and many many more.

wat a waste that i din bring my camera along. =p

yes i am so proud to be one of the first to visit the new terminal 3! :)

anyway the open house starts from 12 Nov to 9 Dec. opening hours on weekdays are from ten to five, on weekends are nine to six.

the best thing about the open house is you can go inside the Transit Mall, and even the restricted areas! must buy ticket, but its very cheap, if you go in and walk on your own, its just one dollar. if you wanna join a group with a guide, its 3 dollars.

mr wolverine commented that i very kiasu and free, first day of open house go and visit T3 already. haha. =p

so this morning when my invigilation ends at 1030, i drove to T3 with much excitement and anticipation. car park entry is 3 bucks. quite worth it, cos i stayed there until 3 plus. if i park at T2 i think the car park fee will be about 8 dollars.

upon reaching the glass door, i was greeted by the lime-green signboard.

in my life rite, got two very important places. one is any place for me to eat to fill my stomach, cos i get hungry very easily. the other place is the toilet! cos i always go toilet, due to my bladder problem.

and u noe hor, the urinal very funny one leh. when i was peeing rite, i thought i saw a insect at the urinal, then i a bit turn off, how come new toilet with new urinal still will have housefly, so disgusting. but then i find the housefly a bit funny, so i bend down to take a closer look and at the same time making sure my hair din touch the walls of the urinal.

wah biang on every urinal got a housefly painted on it leh. i also dunno the rationale. -_-'''

1) my family for celebrating my birthday with me today. my father is still stranded in beijing, because the company in beijing cock up, dun have money to pay air ticket for my father to fly back to singapore. haiz last year my father also flew to china for business trip on my birthday. this year also the same. :(

2) yueting for celebrating with me in advance yesterday. the dinner at wahiro and the ktv singing were marvellous. :)

so happy that so many of my friends remember my birthday. although i think some of them only realised thru facebook or friendster. haha.

special mention must go to huijia! cos she bake cookies for me! but then she unable to pass me the birthday present last week when we were supposed to meet up thanks to the heavy rain, so she ate all the cookies up! hahahahaha.

my family supposed to go to this hk cafe at katong for dinner to celebrate my birthday. but since my father not back yet, i decide to postpone it until he comes back. last year he cannot eat with us at ding tai feng, this year i wanna make sure he can eat together us.

thanks to my dear sister tan huanyang for getting me the birthday cake from secret recipe! when i first saw the cake i was a bit sian, cos its a brownie, and i was nv a fan of chocolatey stuff, and i prefer strawberry and vanilla.

but then the brownie cake still taste quite nice. first dun have that rich chocolate flavour, which suits me alot. and in between the brownie got a layer of cheese! very interesting!



i am 24 already! omg! cant believe that man. =p

today i was nearly involved in an accident.

i was driving. then the taxi in front suddenly stop by the road to let the passenger alight. i a bit pissed, so wanna overtake the taxi. then change lane.

and shit i forgot to check blind spot! sbs bus was just beside me!!! luckily the driver stopped just in time, but he honked at me. sianz. yah i noe i deserve it. sorry bus driver. :p

thank god i am all right. thank god yueting is all right. thank god the car is all right. thank god the bus driver, the bus, and the passengers are all right. 菩萨保佑. 谢谢.

anyway if you guys din noe my father change car le. from the black color mitsubishi colt to a white color kia. i still prefer to drive the mitsubishi colt. cos its smaller and easier to park. haha.

ok so tonight me and yueting went to this jap restaurant at katong mall, called wahiro!

finally have the chance to try the famous kushiyaki! which is japanese 串烧! yummy!

one tip: once the kushiyaki comes, must eat immediately while its piping hot!!! if not cold le not that nice already! and must dip into their power sauce! which i dunno wat it is made of, but dip with that sauce really enhance the flavour!

we ordered the kushiyaki set, which also comes with a salad, eat already feel very 开胃, and also a plate of sashimi, consisting of maguro, kajiki toro and hamachi! seriously this is the best sashimi i had ever tasted! very fresh, very sweet, and got a pleasant after taste!

i remembered eating kajiki toro sashimi at nus g**ki, omg the sashimi really have a super horrid and 腥 taste, and i spit it out immediately after taking the first bite.



the kushiyaki set consists of chicken liver (which taste quite disgusting), chicken dunno wat which also taste a bit disgusting, chicken thigh, chicken skin, pork belly and ginko nut.

very very very nice! the udon very Q and chewy! the soup is very rich and tasty!


grilled prawns with japanese cheese




dunno wat is the actual name for it. but it is one of the restaurant's specialties! big and fresh prawns with cheese! yummy! last time we always ate scallops with cheese, so its a nice change!

i recommend everyone to go there and try the food! but it is definitely more ex than s**ae and g**ki, but of course quality of the food is so much better, so i guess its worth it! :)

超级星光大道

this few days i am completely addicted to the 超级星光大道 fever, and watching their videos on youtube.

if you all dunno wat 超级星光大道 is, it is a singing competition held in taiwan, and it is now in the second series. the videos that i am watching are the contestants from the first series.

enjoyed watching them alot, becos not only the contestants can sing really well, but the judges' comments are always very good and funny, not like some of our local judges, comments 来来去去 always the same. and the host, who is 陶子, is super good at talking and super funny, she not only terkan the contestants, but also terkan one particular judge, in a good-natured manner of course. haha.

there are 3 particular contestants that i like alot.

1) 谢震廷

The youngest contestant, only at the age of 13! At such a young age, he is one of the strongest contestants, eliminating many of his opponents who actually have more singing and competition experience compared to him. this is wat i call 初生之犊不怕虎.

And a very funny thing is that he very scared that his voice will break halfway throughout the competition, which will affect his singing performance. 陶子 always make fun of him about this. super hilarious.

2) 杨宗纬

Ugly face, but sing very well. Expression very 情绪化 and 激动 whenever he sings. One of the favourite contestants to win the competition, but...

He fake his age when filling up the application form, and the organisers found out about it... :(

So he kenna kick out of the competition, and later on he went up on stage to make an apology, which is very very sad... all the fans were crying, he was crying, fellow contestants crying, 陶子 crying, and even the judges were crying.

The champion of the first series!

Got one point of time he wanted to quit the competition, because he keep seeing the contestants getting eliminated one by one, and he feel very sad, cos all the contestants are very gham with one another, even though they are opponents. But in the end his fellow contestants, 陶子, and also the judges all persuaded him not to, and in the end he persevered on, and went on to win the competition.

actually i also cant remember when i was young, did i really aspire to be a performing artiste.

my first ever performance on stage was 6 six years, and its a graduation performance for kindergarden. i remembered i wear a red color fido dido (that 7-up guy) tshirt, with white color shorts (like singapore flag), then holding this super large crayon. yah my group did this crayon dance, and the performance was held in east view primary school, which also became my primary school.

i was actually a shy and quiet boy in primary school, and was nv active in CCAs, becos i was asthmatic.

but when i went to sec sch, i joined wushu, and my life started to change. my asthma attacks become less frequent, and slowly i had outgrown it.

and becos i joined wushu, i started to realise my passion for the stage. i started to enjoy performing wushu on stage, and enjoy the applause after the end of every performance.

in secondary school, to commemorate the school's anniversary celebrations, there will always be a cultural nite organised at kallang theatre, and wushu will always be involved. i always look forward to that, because can skip lessons and go to kallang theatre for rehearsals, can have fun with my wushu friends in the dressing room. and that time i 暗恋 a gal in the dance club, so i get to see her more often and also see her dance on stage. =p

not only did i perform wushu on stage, i also represent my class in those 讲故事比赛 and 文章朗读比赛 yearly. and always get into the top 3 ok! but always get 3rd, cos the other two classes got some girls from chinese drama, their chinese speaking super zai and super nice to listen.

in jc, i also have quite a few wushu performances.

but the highest number of performances for me is in uni.

wushu, dance, and even drama! haha.

seriously speaking, before i came into uni, i can really nv imagine myself dancing. cos i practise wushu, and all the while i always have this misconcept that dance is super gu niang, and dance is for "ah gua" guys.

but when i came into hall, my concept start to change.

i saw fen dancing, and the way he dance is not gu niang at all, and in fact his dancing is super nice.

then i saw my wushu fren song en dancing too.

and when i saw the wushudance that fen choreographed for du 06, my concept change totally already. i really wanted to try dancing. haha.

my first try in dancing came when i joined the rag dance in 2006. that's when i really get to noe fen. that's when i really involve myself in the countless dance practises and dance rehearsals. although sometimes its siong, but i actually quite enjoy it.

thankfully i joined rag that time, cos i met my darling. =)

after joining rag, i start to get involved in more dance performances, even more than wushu.

all thanks to fen of course.

he roped me in for the shanghai dance. roped me in for dance reflections.

and....

i agreed to take part in next year's nus arts festival. haha. i will be performing for nus chinese dance. =p

heard that next year's chinese dance concert will not be at LT13, but it will be at UCC dance studio instead! so its super 近距离 between the performers and the audience. the audience can see everything very clearly.

practise starts this year december, all the way until march! so its trips from tampines all the way to nus on wednesday and friday nights again!

i think i will be super busy from jan 08 to march 08.

actually, if i ever got the chance to perform in esplanade, indoor stadium, and also perform overseas, be it wushu, dance, drama, or even singing (which i think is highly unlikely), i will die without regrets. haha.

all rite the next test is on 16th march 2008. i will go all out already. i wun FAIL again.
