saturday post
went to watch movie with darling. the title of the movie is MAN FROM NOWHERE. the male lead is 元斌. good gracious me, it is a seriously awesome movie, and in my honest opinion it is the best korean movie i have ever watched!!! omg! you really have to watch it!

after watching the movie we went to orchard central for dinner. the intention was to eat dinner first, then go to manpuku and sit down at our favourite seat to wait until 830 pm, which is when orchard road will turn off the lights to commemorate earth hour.
when we reach orchard central we checked the list of restaurants on the directory. omg there is genki! genki has made a comeback!
but we din go genki to eat lah. we went tung lok instead, because i received my performance bonus already. hahahaha.

thai-style tofu. it was a chef recommendation on the menu but it tasted quite ordinary.
ta da! next time dun order this!
wasabi mayo prawn. wah this one is power. signature dish. confirm must order. dun order will regret. a bit expensive though. 24 dollars.
old cucumber soup. this one also power. inside the soup got prawn, scallop and crab meat. not the put inside steamboat that kind of crabmeat hor. is the real crab meat.
tau huey pudding with avocado sauce. very nice!
so after the dinner we went to manpuku. we ordered the green tea tiramisu cake with custard base. taste quite ordinary also.
and we finally waited until 830 pm. wah lao disappointing sia. only switch off some of the lights. orchard road is still as bright as ever. yawn~

sunday post
first thing in the morning i went to vibez studio to have a wushu session with the pple from rhythm n moves. i can only say i had a hard time catching up. the young kids are really good and they put me to shame. :(
went to watch Fan Yang's Gadzillion Bubble Show with darling at de marquee downtown east.
his bubble tricks were really amazing! the audience were all wow-ed by the different patterns of bubbles, the size of the bubble, and the zillions of bubbles. it is a bubble day!
my panasonic digi cam cannot capture nice shots of the entire performance. so i shall take some photos from the web and share with everyone. these photos are taken at Fan Yang's show in New York. the things he did at new york is entirely the same as what he did in singapore. and i was there to watch all these! superb!
first time i see so many bubbles.
after the bubble show both of us were hungry, so i brought her to F.I.S.H at tampines 1! darling likes the food there! :)

I absolutely hate Facebook.
I've been trying for years now to get them erased but they just ignore me.
I think it's a disgrace that people can go Facebook and pretend to be me.
I'd like to put on record that I don't have any connection whatsoever with Facebook.
If Facebook would erase all profiles, I'd probably go on and have a fanpage.
But it is an absolute disgrace, because there are so many people pretending to be me.
How would people know that it's really me?

photoshoot at my workplace
i think i mentioned this before, but nvm i shall mention it again.
my workplace is celebrating her 25th year anniversary, and the theme is B2B. Be, to become who you want to be.
so i decided to take some publicity photos to raise awareness and make everyone excited because 25th anniversary is a big thing! is not my hod or my vp or batman arrow me one hor. i did this on my own initiative, told my vp about the idea and she gave me the go ahead. :)
i quickly gathered some of my students who i think have something special to showcase. i used my father's nikon dslr as the camera for the photoshoot, and i bought 2 big pieces of white cloth as the backdrop.
actually the photos din turn out quite well and i was a bit disappointed. so i was sourcing for photo editing software. i tried photoscape but is not to my liking. i wanted to download adobe photoshop but must pay money. so i became a bit pek chek so i googled for free photo editing software. to my surprise, picasa 3 is one of the software, and i have picasa 3! so i opened picasa 3 to try it out. goodness! the results were awesome!
so i am now going to show some of the photos, before and after. it is very obvious which one is the before, which one is the after. hahahaha. while looking at the photos, you can guess who my students want to be? :)

dinner at ZEN vegetarian japanese restaurant
had a meet up with a few of my sec sch classmates.
one of them is a vegetarian, so everytime when meet up with them, we always have to eat something vegetarian.
today we went to this vegetarian jap restaurant near iluma, and the name of this restaurant is ZEN.
the food is nice, but a bit too expensive. some of the food taste like the actual meat version! 太神奇了.
tomorrow and thursday i am on course at teachers' network, which is near orchard road. hope i wun fall alseep. good night readers!

human polluted IT fair
i went to IT fair with leow chee leong and mak hong sen.
trust me, you will nv want to go there, because the amount of people is horrendous. you will drown yourself among the hordes of IT-savvy consumers or non-IT-savvy consumers who just go to IT fair for the fun or the excitement of it.
anyway i bought a video cam. the canon legria HF R26.
i wanted the red one but both the red and black are already out of stock. so no choice i took the silver one.
isnt it a beauty? :)
and these are the free gifts i received:
a video cam bag (the black and red one), a video cam pouch (i think?), 16 gb memory card, spare battery, memory card reader and a 500 gb portable hard disc, and a tripod (which is not inside the picture).
on top of the video cam, i also bought a "weapon" for myself!
i immediately fell in love with it when i saw it. hahahahaha.
anyway, remember i had delicious mango prawn salad with darling some time ago? here's the salad:
today, darling actually made the salad! with some of her mum's help. haha.

if you guys still din noe, i am involved in 2 camps for this week. monday to wednesday is sec 2 experiential camp at jalan bahtera. thursday to friday is sec 1 confidence camp in sch.

thursday night i slept in the staffroom. my hod bought prata for supper. and i printed out my class report slips and signed 41 times because got 41 students in my class. i pity batman because when it comes to mid year and final year exam he has to sign for all the students in sch.
