suddenly i find myself freaking busy again, with all the presentations and essays stacking up one by one. not to forget the two performances.

tomorrow going to ucc to watch kevii's hall play. i am not into english plays, and the reason i go is simply because to accompany darling. hope the show wun bore me to sleep.

but as a performer myself, i will be super pissed if the audience fell asleep during the performance. so i will try my best not to fall asleep.

大年初一

the clothes that i wore for today:

both tshirt and jeans bought from hong kong. and wat a coincidence that there's a bull on the tshirt. btw this is a euro 2008 spain soccer team tshirt, and i think bull is spain's national animal, because of the bull-fighting? haha i dunno, just anyhow speculating.

first place that i went to is my grandparents' place. i love going there, cos can play with my adorable cousins. haha.

both of them are siblings. both can only speak english, and cant speak mandarin. but surprisingly the older brother (wearing blue top) got band 1 for his chinese! he is in pri 2 now. both are very intelligent, but sometimes they say the darnest things. the older brother say his house cost one million dollars, but is very small, and he dun like. as for the younger brother, he dun like watching spongebob squarepants and casper the friendly ghost, instead he like to watch the dinosaurs in jurassic park, and he noe almost all the names of the different dinosaurs that appeared in the movie. seriously amazing.

next two homes i went are the relatives from my mother's side. both homes got prepare popiah, and i eat one big popiah with super generous fillings at each home.

tomorrow i will be going darling's house to 拜年! i miss darling so much, even though the last time i saw her was on sat. another thing to look forward to is the sumptous steamboat dinner prepared by her mum! yummy~

early in the morning of 大年初一

slept at 3 am yesterday, but already woke up at 720 am. cant get back to sleep, because of a bad running nose. :(

anyway i slept so late yesterday because i was trying this new collage software, called photoscape. and its quite user-friendly.

saturday post

today happen to have two anniversaries.

firstly, is me and darling's 27th month anniversary!

and secondly is my 6th year anniversary of my enlistment into the army.

thankfully today my dad no need to work, so i got to use the car, which made my life today so much more convenient, because i have to go to quite a few places. first i drove to my tuition place. now i got two tuition classes every sat, one sec 4 class and a sec 3 class. i prefer the sec 4 class to the sec 3 class, cos the sec 4s are more serious and more attentive, but at the same time they are quite fun. as for the sec 3 class there are a few brats who dun pay attention and try to act cute, which i seriously dunno why they pay money and come for tuition in the first place. these brats should just scram away from my class and use the money for other useful purposes, like buying sch uniform or stationery.

after tuition, i drove to old airport road hawker centre, since its quite near to my tuition place. i bought the super yummy fried durian and fried 年糕. if you ever go to the hawker centre, must definitely buy the fried durian to eat, and must eat when its hot, and its damn shiok. after buying the fried durian, i drove to hall for dance practise. btw, i have agreed to dance in one item for nus chi dance. so i will have two different performances coming up. the dance steps for this item are still ok, not that difficult, but the music is super fast.

finally, went to vivo with darling to watch red cliff II. very very nice! although the script in the movie is a bit different from the actual storyline, but not that 荒唐, so still can accept.

lin zhi ling plays a more important role in part II compared to part I, and i must admit that she is damn gorgeous. haha. tony leung and jin cheng wu are also damn suave in their roles.

ok i am super tired now, going to sleep, here's wishing everyone a prosperous chinese new year! happy ang bao collecting and goodies-eating!

i think my little sis is the luckiest girl in the world.

my sis was working in the duty-free wine shop at T3, and then he walked into the shop!

he wanted to buy a bottle of don perignon champagne, so my little sis ask him where is he bringing it to, and he said he bringing it to the maldives. so my little sis told him its impossible (maybe the country dun allow tourists to bring wine?), and then he replied in very perfect english: "nvm, i will take the risk."

and my little sis said she melted. -.-'''

so who is he going with to the maldives? isit 佘诗曼? haha.

anyway, today is my parents' 26th year wedding anniversary!!! so they got married in 23 jan 1983, then on that night do that thing, and i POP out on 11 nov 1983. talk about first time lucky. haha. or simply because my dad is damn power. hahahaha.

tmr will be a super packed day for me. tuition from 11 am to 2 pm, go to KE for dance prac from 230 to 530 pm, then rush to vivo to watch red cliff II with darling at 7 pm! :)

dance

some of you may be puzzled why i am dancing in school. well its because i took a dance module in this semester.

for pe teachers rite, we must take some sports modules, and they will give us quite a few to choose from.

last sem, we have to choose between basketball and rugby, which i chose basketball.

this sem, we have two groups. one group is dance and track & field. the other group is soccer and netball. so we must choose one choice out of each group. i wanted track & field and soccer, but hor, too many pple want track, and dun want dance, so bo bian some pple have to go to dance, so i volunteer myself since i have a bit of dance experience.

anyway next sem also have two groups, which will be gymnastics and swimming, and the other group is badminton and volleyball. most likely i will choose gymnastics and volleyball. haha. as for the last sem is to choose one sport out of hockey, softball and tennis.

ok i am sure all of you are very curious wat i learn in this dance module. well, my instructor is this very nice lady, who is also a professor (WOW!), and the dances that she teach us so far is folk dances. we will also be learning rock n roll and cha cha later. hahaha.

weekend post

nothing happening in my life right now, so got nothing to blog.

i treasure my weekends alot, and try to stay at home as much as i can, to accompany my parents. but the thing is i am teaching tutition in the afternoon on saturdays, and sat and sun nights are sacrificed for dance rehearsals.

btw let me provide some background information on this upcoming performance i am involved in. the theme is on deforestation, so there will be 3 different types of roles in this dance: the trees, the natives and the loggers.

i am one of the loggers, and i have lots of interaction with the trees. so i must cut them, chop them, push them, lift them, 摧残 them. haha.

i think this will be a very nice dance, with a very good concept to begin with, plus the nice dance steps. the performance will be held at ucc studio, so can only house around 60 pple, and the most cock thing is the audience must sit on the floor. yes very turn off i noe.

right now i am in hall, and my new roomie has shifted in. he is a prc, very nice guy, very soft spoken, very humble. good lah, seems that i got an angel, luckily nv get devils from hell. haha. hope that i am able to click well with him.

cny is coming very very soon, and seriously i think its coming too fast. the next holiday after that have to wait until april, which is good friday.

nevertheless, i am still looking forward to cny, where i can eat steamboat with family and relatives, and all sorts of goodies. yay!

lastly, to my partners, just eat everything you can and enjoy all the nice food. haha. i will lift more dumbells to build up my arm strength.

ponyo at jurong point

went to jurong point with darling this evening.

jurong point has just finish renovation, and is now super big. now got jp1 and jp2, where jp1 is the original jurong point, and jp2 is the extension. alot of new shops and new restaurants, and the most outstanding shop has to be the ntuc fairprice on the 3rd level, which is GIGANTIC, similar to carrefour (dunno how to spell), where it sells electronics other than groceries.

we watched ponyo. very nice anime. encourage everyone to watch it. if you want a movie review, pls go to maxim's blog, oops sorry, i mean max's blog, aka ah yam.

as you noe, gv shows damn alot of commercials before the movie starts, and one of the commercials is a trailer from jack neo's latest movie.

i really dun understand why.

on mondays, i have one hour of dance and one hour of soccer.

ok tuesday is my nua day. so i will try my best to go jogging.

wednesdays, i have two hours of soccer, from 330 to 530, which is the hottest time of the day.

thursdays, i have two hours of dance.

friday is also my nua day, so i will also try to go jogging.

saturday nights are for dance practises.

sunday mornings are for soccer sessions, and nights are for dance practises.

i work out so much, why i still have such a big tummy?! haiz this is so saddening. so it all boils down to my diet.

i cant possibly cut down on wat i eat, cos i love food. but i shall try my best to cut down on suppers.

so i have to do more exercises in order to lose the excess calories.

i have a classmate, during the dec vacation, he jog everyday, go to the gym, and now he lost 7 kg! wah i must look up to him for inspiration and motivation.

so from now on, i will try my very very best to do 100 sit-ups everyday, and jog 3 to 5 km for at least twice a week.

weekend post

went to watch takraw ihg in the morning. the reporter from the 橙宿舍 summarise 红宿舍's performance in 3 words: outwitted. outplayed. overwhelmed.

honestly speaking, i still think the red hall put up quite a credible performance, despite their so few trainings plus poor attendance. takraw is a very technical game, which requires lots of practise, and bonding among all 3 players in the regu. but the other halls' standard are improving by leaps and bounds, and the red hall's standard still 停滞不前. haiz i cant help but feel a bit sad.

did not watch the final between orange hall and yellow hall, cos have to rush to my classmate's daughter's bday party, which was at sengkang. wah taking NE line from harbourfront to sengkang is no joke man. nzj now i realise why you die die want to stay hall. haha.

this is the classmate, and her daughter. the 大姐大 of our class. she was an ex-obs instructor.

dance practise just now was quite fulfilling. at least i know better the whole sequence of the dance, and recognise the music better also. i think it will be a good show, but seriously we really dun have much time left. hopefully all of us can do a good job when the time comes. and hopefully my chemistry with my pdd partner will peak at the right time. haha.

dinner at jack's place

went to heeren with darling just now. wah the top floor revamp so much. got so many new and nice restaurants.

so we had dinner at jack's place. it was darling's first time eating at jack's place, and my second time. my first time when i was very very young, my dad brought the whole family to eat, and i remembered he ordered escargots for us to try. haha.

here's our food:

starter: lobster bisque soup with garlic bread.

appetiser: prawn salad with mango

main courses: darling ordered crayfish and chicken steak combo. mine is lamb chop and fish combo. words cannot describe how delicious they taste.

finally, our dessert.

dunno wat's the name called. but i noe is vanilla ice cream with peach slices.

wah eat until super full. but super satisfying. after that we went to walk walk around heeren, and i bought a new converse bag. from the orginal price of 69.90 slash to 39.90, of course must buy. haha. and then we go to takashimaya, and there's a 年货市场, super happening. even got 恒香老婆饼!

tmr is a super packed day. tmr morning i will go to nus to watch takraw ihg, then afternoon go to my classmate's daughter's bday party at sengkang, then go back home rest for a while, then pack my stuff and go back to nus again for dance practise, and after practise i will go back to hall. woo hoo.
