the christmas outing~

merry christmas!!!


the best way to start christmas day is waking up to see darling beside me (because i stayed over at her place haha) and to eat ritz apple strudel for breakfast! *blessed*


darling's mum cooked yummy fried rice for lunch, and she made mixed fruit juice for us to drink. :)


and then off we went for our christmas outing! first stop is mount faber jewel box, where we took cable car to sentosa. once we reach mount faber, we saw monkeys!

 

 

these monkeys are so daring to go on top of the cars. and very daring to go so close to humans.


at jewel box:

do you noe that jewel box is voted as one of the 7 wonders of SINGAPORE??!! i wonder what are the other 6 wonders. i think esplanade, changi airport, sg river and merlion are definitely in the other 6.


inside the cable car:

there were 2 other tourists sharing the cable car with us. the whole atmosphere was a bit weird. hahahaha. 


and there's alot alot alot of pple at sentosa! it is crazy! the crowd can be compared to the "better city" expo!


actually the main purpose of going to sentosa is to watch voyage de la vie. beware, because i am going to keep raving about voyage de la vie.


first, the theatre, which is simply awesome:

the show started off with a pre-show segment, which is very very interactive! the performers start to come out from the sides of the theatre and interact with the audience. and then 4 "lizards" start to crawl down from the top of the audience seats to the stage, teasing with the audience and scaring them. one of the audience happen to be sms-ing, and then the "lizard" sneaked in beside him looked at his sms, and then the person turned his head and saw the "lizard" and he nearly freaked out. haha.


the whole show was amazing and breath-taking! a five-star performance, which comprises of singing, dance, live band music, acrobatics, circus acts, crazy stunts, magic tricks, beautiful props/sets, and even fireworks! wassup lah! worth every single cent of the money that i spent!


introducing the main cast:

the male lead is a singaporean, and he is none other than jonathan leong, runner-up of singapore idol.

 

all the songs in the show were sung by him.

ok let me show you a short clip of voyage de la vie with the theme song:

the most amazing person in the whole cast is this boy who is also the youngest. his body is made of rubber.

if nuscd got 5 pple with his flexibility, even wang da can go and fly kite. hahahahaha.

it was a pity that we din see him juggle.

maybe he lost his balls (i mean juggling balls).

so fret not, i am showing one of his amazing juggling skills:

the curtain call is also very nice! i am not good at describing, so you all must be there to experience it yourself! really worth watching! :)

and i bought their program booklet for 5 bucks as a momento.

so after the show we took RWS8 to vivocity. and we realise it was raining heavily! we were scared that the cable car will cease operation because of the bad weather, and if we walk to mount faber also very jia lat.

but we should fill our stomachs first. so off we went to no signboard! i already made a reservation. hahaha. so when we were ushered to our table, i sat down and i looked straight, and to my astonishment, i saw PM Lee! OMG!!! PM Lee eating at no signboard vivocity? and i immediately gasped,"李显龙!" and then, darling and her parents immediately turned their heads to where i am looking and they were also shocked. hahaha. hope i din gasp too loud. 

he was with his wife, and 4 other pple. and there were 5 bodyguards. 2 bodyguards inside the restaurant. 1 bodyguard at the entrance of the restaurant. and the other 2 were standing outside the restaurant, at where PM Lee is sitting. 真是保卫森严.

after our yummy dinner the rain got smaller. thank goodness. so we took cable car back to mount faber from harbourfront. we were super fortunate to see fireworks from sentosa! i think these fireworks come from songs of the sea. 

upon reaching mount faber, darling took a picture with the super atas cable car. hahaha.

a very happy day for all of us! :)

the christmas eve post

merry christmas eve everybody!


this christmas is full of activities. i started the day with a 6x400m interval training at tampines stadium with my pe friends. i managed to hit 1:30 for the first five rounds and ended the 6th round with a timing of 1:28. woo hoo. i feel so proud of myself.


later going to tampines central for lunch with leow chee leong the holy man. and then meet darling for some christmas shopping. after that go to baozhen's house for a gathering.


tomorrow i going to RWS to watch voyage de la vie! woo hoo! going with darling and her parents. :)

(next time i must bring my parents to watch nice shows like this.)


after watching voyage de la vie we going to no signboard at vivocity for christmas dinner!


and then on sunday afternoon i going to lailai's new house at sengkang to discuss his wedding preparations, because i am one of his brothers. and then all of us will have dinner together~


very fruitful weekend. :)

gathering with pe classmates

met up with my pe classmates at vivocity for lunch and shopping at adidas, because one of my classmates has a promo code which entitles 40% discount. woo hoo. and then after that supposed to go to mel's house, but unfortunately she is sick. 


lunch was at ximending restaurant, which sells taiwan food. food is so-so, and definitely overpriced. dun think i will go there for a second time. 


and then it was shopping for new sports apparel to enhance our professional image as pe teachers!

in the end i din buy any of the above, because i simply have too many jerseys. must put a stop, unless the jersey is really really really very nice, and is limited edition. which is the case for the blue color one, and it is designed according to star wars! really very nice! but a bit expensive. it cost 129 bucks! wassup! after the 40 percent discount is 78 bucks! also very ex!


instead i bought a new pair of street soccer boots, cos the current one i am wearing has "erosion" at the base. the base is getting thinner and thinner, which cause me to have blisters on my foot all the time. 

the adidas super sala IX! i am a big fan of this type of street soccer boots, because i had two pairs before:

see darling, my tastes have changed. i am not as loud as last time. hahahahaha. i am getting more and more conservative with colors. :p


after shopping we were super thirsty, so we had drinks at max brenner chocolate bar, which actually made us more thirsty because their drinks are really very sweet and very gao3. we drank lots of plain water, and i went toilet dunno how many times. -.-'''

very nice cup, with a metal straw. it feels weird to suck something so hard. 


it is nice to see my classmates again! anyway rem i showed u a poster of my classmate wearing the nike sports bra?

just now i asked her how come she so lucky, can endorse nike products, and she INSISTED that the lady above is not her. hmmmmmm... it is hard to believe, but if is really not her, then 她们两个真的很像.
