i was so damn tense when watching the penalty shootout. my heart nearly stopped beating. when ronaldo missed i was damn sian. when john terry stepped up to take the penalty, i closed my eyes and dare not opened it. a few seconds later i opened up my eyes, i saw john terry sitting on the field in dejection. yes!!! man u still got hope!

the moment edwin van der sar saved anelka's penalty, i was over the moon. wah hahahaha.

din sleep after the whole thing, as its time for me to go to work. i was so stoned for the whole day. and i wore my 1999 treble jersey! haha. that's the benefit for pe teachers. :p

lilliputt

anyone of you still remember reading the book gulliver's travels?

is about this person called gulliver, go out sailing at sea, then his boat capsize, so he 漂浮 to this island. he was damn shag, so he fall asleep on the shores of the island. by the time he woke up, he realised he was bounded in ropes, and to his amazement, the pple who bounded him are actually super tiny pple, around the size of his hand.

so apparently he has arrived at this island called lilliput, and these little people stayed on that island.

today, me and darling went to Lilliputt. it is not an island. but it is actually a miniature golf course, situated at east coast. this golf course got 18 holes, where each hole is a miniature build-up of a tourist attraction in singapore.

still dun understand? join me for the tour. haha.

1) Changi Airport

2) Singapore Discovery Centre

3) Singapore Turf Club

4) Esplanade

5) MRT

6) Suntec City

7) Jurong Bird Park

8) Big Splash

9) Science Centre

10) Haw Par Villa

11) Zoo

12) Singapore Food Centre

13) Padang

14) Boat Quay

15) Singapore Port

16) Botanic Gardens

17) Mount Faber

18) Sentosa

its a very fun place. can take nice pictures, can even exercise. haha. some of the holes have very interesting mechanisms. for example at the zoo, when the golf ball go into the hippopotamus mouth, a monkey will come out to laugh at you. maybe the kevii float pple can go there and take a look.

because saturday i cant go out with darling, darling want to punish me. i have to piggyback her, and then must take a photo.

piggyback? no problem! hahahaha. =p

vesak day performance

although the performance was at night, but it is still very hot! all of us were pespiring non-stop even before the performance. and it got worse after the performance.

i must say the audience is very appreciative and responsive. majority are all lao ah peks. so when pretty girls go up on stage to perform, all of them will take our their digital cameras, hp cameras, antique cameras, or watever image-capturing devices, and start snapping away.

got one particular item, which is a old couple, perform a few crazy stunts.

kua zhang rite? i cant imagine myself doing all these stuff at their age.

the pics of our performance. (thank you darling for being our camera-woman)

i think i am getting a bit sian of this dance item. but i noe pple like fen, ah liang and michael will be even more sian. imagine they danced that item 16 times when they go to korea last year! omg. really is dance until wanna vomit.

and we will also be dancing this item again in september! woo hoo. happy vomitting.

weekend post

this weekend has been burnt. cannot go out shopping with darling. haiz sadded.

saturday afternoon went to tjc with my mum to see my little sis receive her colours award for tae kwan do. six years ago i was also at the same place receiving my colours award for wushu.

at night went to nus for dance practise. we have started choreography for september's DR performance. at the start of the practise, my dear partner, from chio outdoor enthusiast, triumphantly transform into crippled outdoor enthusiast, because she sprained her right ankle when doing one of the jumps. haiyo. unlucky her. i wanted to go to the nearest food outlet to get some ice, and thanks to intelligent laval, he said go to RH's dining hall get the ice, when RH is so near, and the ice is free!

the practise ended at around eleven plus. some of us went for supper at this very nice noodle house at upper thomson road. and when we were about to go home, which is around one plus am, the girls suggested to watch a late night movie! me and laval were like WAT?!

but such a crazy occasion is hard to come by so the two of us agreed to watch. we checked the papers and accuracy of death (starred by jin cheng wu) is showing at cineleisure at one fifty am. so off we went to cineleisure, only discovering that it is showing at one fifteen am! dunno whether is newspaper print wrongly or cineleisure got the timing wrong.

so, all of us went home instead. haha.

tonight got dance performance at buddha tooth temple again. this time is at a outdoor stage outside the temple. darling and my parents are coming to watch! :)

tomorrow is vesak day holiday, and i will be going to the zoo with darling. hope the weather wun be too hot, and hope it doesnt rain.

performance @ buddha tooth temple

seriously speaking, this is the most 富丽堂皇 temple i had ever seen in my whole life. and also the most modern.

magnificient, isnt it? look like a palace from the outside. once you step in, you will be even more impressed. especially the toilets. their taps and flushing system are automatic ones! my god. which temple in this world has high class toilets that can only be found in five-star hotels? a pity i forgot to take a pic of the toilet.

and the lift also very class. the walls are carpetted!

the stage that we performed at.

one of the dance items from 聚舞坊 dropped alot of strips of coloured paper on the stage. so we decided to use these coloured paper and throw them in the air, then quickly take picture, to create a snowing effect.

but i guessed we failed terribly. =p

thankfully, i managed to have a better snowing effect photo taken previously at japan.

can see the red leaves falling down? kudos to my little sis.

after the performance i immediately went home, cos i was sick. having sore throat with lots of phlegm, and a very bad cough. no thanks to the 四川麻辣火锅 that i ate for lunch with my colleagues, which aggravated my sore throat. anyway the steamboat really rocks. 100 times much nicer than the steamboat at old hk cafe. but thanks to some antibiotics, woods cough syrup, and drinking alot of water, i am much better now.
