庆功宴!

i got assignments to rush, but let me blog first before completing the assignments. haha.

so sat night is the long awaited qing gong yan. after filming chu lu pristine version (as wat chio outdoor enthusiast calls it which i also dunno wat pristine means), we went for a quick wash up and then prepare to set off for laoshi's condo where the qing gong yan is held. coincidentally my youngest uncle stays at the same condo.

both chio outdoor enthusiast and i drove, so all the girls squeeze in chio outdoor enthusiast's car, and only hw followed me. no girl wants to follow me. haiz. chio outdoor enthusiast went straight to laoshi's house and i went to KE to fetch darling cos she has a xqrj meeting. anyway xqrj got nus student achievement award! congrats! i think no need me to publicise lah, from the members' msn nick can tell already.

as we were on our way to laoshi's place, which is at tanjong rhu, hanwei received a call from grace tiang. there were two vegetarians among the dancers, which is zhimin and the ASM, and the exco forgot to get vegetarian food for them, so grace ask on the exco's behalf whether we can get two packets of vegetarian food, with a super tight budget of 8 bucks.

thankfully i am a easterner and i noe tanjong rhu area quite well cos my sec sch is near there and last time my parents always bring the whole family to this hawker centre in tanjong rhu for meals. so first i drove to the hawker centre to try my luck. and then no luck cos got no vegetarian. i very tempted to just go to the zhi char stall and ask them to fry some gai lan to go with the rice, but dunno whether is darling or hw who said that the vegetarian food is not authentic enough.

so i started brainstorming for other places that may have vegetarian food, and old airport road hawker centre comes into my mind. so off we went.

old airport road hawker centre si bei big, and we walk and walk, and finally found the authentic vegetarian stall! they got all sorts of vegetarian food, even got fish and chips and pork chop, vegetarian version. but both cost five bucks each, and we only got 8 bucks budget, so in the end we bought the hokkien mee and mee goreng, altogether five bucks. haha.

hanwei also bought some fried durian at one of the stalls. taste awesomely good! definitely a must buy if i go there again.

finally we reach laoshi's place. started playing some sort of card game which i dunno the name. and then it was eating the food and mingle-ing around. entertainment was showing our performance dvd in a rather innovative manner.

using a laptop, a projecter, speakers and a screen made of white mahjong paper. ups lah!

some of us have to leave early because we going leisure park to watch 画皮. when we were about to leave, siaoyan aka siao onz dance ic (the one who made 男生男生 popular) ask all of us to take a pic together before leaving.

画皮 is nice! in this movie, 爱情 is the main component. the 武打 component is just secondary.

there is this very touching line in the movie:

"不管你是人，还是妖，我都永远爱你，因为你是我的夫人。"

the moment i hear this, my eyes start getting wet. but haven cry yet.

then when i turn my head to the right...

i saw on both darling and huishi faces, tears just came down like waterfall from their eyes.

yah lah is really very touching.

after the movie we went to kbox for ktv. and we sang until 330 am. and i wun ever go kbox again during the night. so expensive!

出路 restage

because of qing gong yan, the welfare head from exco send out an appeal for pple to come up with 余兴节目 so that the qing gong yan will be very entertaining.

so i suggested doing a restage of 出路 with 动力火车's 我吃得起苦, and then dance ic also onz about it, and then she sms the dancers, and majority also onz, and even choreographer also onz, so steady lah! 出路's group dynamics really super strong.

we went to as7 in the afternoon to recap the steps and then do the whole performance, and mike help us video the whole thing. we cant do at qing gong yan cos there is no space! haha. so we just play the video for everyone to see. :p

the most spectacular stunt: 3 guys + zengyan. its a waste that the stunt din look that spectacular on stage during both performances, cos we experience some difficulties, which we also dunno the reason. haiz.

si bei si bei sian.

i got two assignments due next week.

one on nx thur. it takes up 30 percent of the final grade.

the other one is nx fri. also 30 percent.

and i do until super tired and bored. i have been pausing and playing the same video for like 100 times to analyse how my cousin jump. whether he got take off with both feet, or whether he got swing both arms to assist the jumping action.

now i want to sleep le. cannot take it.

i need a morale booster!

because i do my assignment until very sian, i sometimes will go youtube watch 天龙八部. the hk 97 version, where felix wong is 乔峰.

he is really damn wu sei in this drama serial.

wu sei to the extent that i wish to emulate him. i cant possibly do 降龙十八掌 or 打狗棒法.

so i use his lines as my msn nick. haha.

drove all the way from NTU to woodlands to eat supper with the woodlanders. if you are puzzled why i can drive, is because my parents went to South Africa to travel, and will only be back this thursday.

nice supper session, with all the funny chit chats, especially squabbles between hw and the rest of the girls. haha.

assignment involving my cousin

this afternoon i went to my cousin's house to do an assignment.

for this assignment, my lecturer wants us to find a kid, primary sch level, and then ask the kid to perform a locomotor skill and ballistic skill. if you all dunno wat locomotor and ballistic is, locomotor means walking, running, jumping, hopping and skipping; whereas ballistic means throwing, kicking or catching.

i ask my cousin to do a vertical jump, and then do a overarm throw with a tennis ball. he will do both skills first, then based on wat he did, i have to use about 30 min to teach him how to improve his technique on jumping and throwing. and then the whole process must be videotaped, and photographs must be taken, and most importantly, i must be inside the video and the photographs.

so of course i need the help of an assistant, and this person is none other than:

my cousin is really cute and active. choosing him as my subject is the best choice.

darling is not angry with me le~ yay~ :)

the whole of sat was spent at darling's house. we studied together in her bedroom. its nice to have someone to study with, cos can motivate each other and nag at each other when one of us is slacking, which most of the case is she nag at me. haha.

in the evening we went to jog and i must tell you, woodlands is an amazing place. the field behind the sports sch is really wonderful. jogging at the field makes you feel really good, and the feeling is entirely different from jogging on the track or jogging at bedok reservoir. i love that place.

darling's mum cooked a wonderful dinner again. i have one whole cod fish steak for myself. woo hoo~ talk about indulgence man.

after that went to meet up with my army friends for supper, despite still feeling full and satisfied from the dinner. we went to upper thomson road again. for those who dunno, i have been going upper thomson road quite frequently for suppers after dance practises. the bak chor mee is to die for man! opposite the bak chor mee got this shop called crab shack, which serve very nice western food. and beside crab shack got this shop called cheeky chocolate, and you must order the warm chocolate cake.

so we went to crab shack, and i went to order the warm chocolate cake for my army friends to try. they also love it.

after supper, the night is still young, and one of them suggested going to bishan park. 3 guys go bishan park on a wonderful quiet night. how gay is that. haha. but i must say the place is very nice, and even got a few restaurants. next time can bring darling go there try. :)
