darling felt that majority of the performance was too emo. and the costumes were a bit dull. hence her favourite item was xuehong's item. hahahaha. during the afternoon show i screwed up the first lift with yokekay. and darling commented:"you have no chemistry with your partner. i dunno whether should i be happy or sad. hahahaha. you only have chemistry with me!"

my two wonderful sisters, who arrived at 805 pm, and missed my one and only item. zzzzz. they posted this photo on their instagram, and here's what they have to say.
hy: this is @mrtanyy dance item, which @ellisontanyy and i missed it cause my lousy directional cues made us late for the show. hey we were only 5 mins late ya know! unfair.com @ellisontanyy has posted something so emo on her insta that it's impossible for me to match up to her standards. nonetheless, siblings we are, sincerity we learn from our parents. that's probably why we are always proud of each other and we always keep each other close to our hearts.
yy: forced @hynielling to head down to @mrtanyy's performance with me today and we were late because we got lost so we missed his one and only piece lol #lousysisters. From this picture alone you can tell how different we are, and i think the differences become even more obvious as we grow older. not many people know this but we were very "artsy" when we were young. my brother was in wushu, my sister in chinese dance, and i was in chinese drama. and even until now, we're all performing in some way or another. i guess that's the one similarity we have. there's a flame in us that never goes out.

i laosai since yesterday, and this morning i woke up at 3 am plus and lao sai another two times. and hence i had to take mc today. my colleague told me that she feel strange that i am sick because i am usually so fit and active. :p
i am very looking forward to 18 Feb because it is the workplace's CNY concert, and i am choreographing 3 items. 1 of the items is the alumni item, and i am very happy to see all of them again!

i am performing for nus chinese dance again! my last performance for the troupe was in 2013, doing the epic ultraman dance (choreographed by this overseas choreographer from china) as well as the palace eunuch dance (choreographed by DLS).
this performance will be held at ITE College Central black box. i performed in black box twice, once was in psyche 2008 and the other one in michael's WO/OD. both performances were really memorable. i did 3 items for psyche 2008, when i was still going strong at a young age of 25. i can't imagine myself doing 3 items for 'Senses' at the age of 31, hence i am just doing one item, that is choreographed by bin gege and silei.

#throwback to 10 Jan 2015, where enxuan (darling's niece) had her first year birthday party. i was the official photographer.

my new year eve started at tampines community plaza, where i brought the show choir kids there for their rehearsal for the evening's countdown concert.
after that i made my way down to orchard to meet darling, for our staycation at marriott hotel. hahahahahaha.
and then i made my way down to tampines community plaza in the evening, leaving darling alone in the room to enjoy her ME time.
