Kindness Day SG

i am sure most of you wun know that 30th May is Kindness Day SG. 

The theme for this year's Kindness Day is "A Nation of Kindness Starts with One". 

To commemorate Kindness Day, each student is given 8 postcards, for them to write kindness messages to 8 of their friends. 

This set of 8 postcards has a theme, "Hands", that reminds students that they can make a difference through acts of kindness. 

"Hands help you up, pat you on the back, or wipe the tears from your face. Hands give. Hands receive. And like hearts, hands show kindness best when they're open. So reach out and touch someone's heart today by writing him or her a thoughtful message."

so when my form class students were happily writing the messages on the postcards, and happily distributing them to their classmates, some of them came up to me to pass me their postcard. i was really surprised by their sweet gesture. a great way to conclude the last day of sem 1. :)

i shall share with you some of their messages (including grammatical errors and horrendous spelling, and their most sincere heart):

You are the best teacher that I haven't met. I hope next year you are still my form teacher. 

Teacher, you have been so patience to our class. I respect you and I will try to keep the class quite ok cher? Love ya!!

sec 3 pinnacle camp 2014

my first time as a camp commandant. 

took me months of preparation with the pe dept and with the vendor. so relieved that the camp was concluded today, with no major incidents.
