2nd and 3rd day @ jalan bahtera

the main program for the 2nd day of the camp was a land expedition. i had to walk around 7 km with a class, and throughout the 7 km there were 5 different checkpoints.

the most memorable checkpoint is i actually held a super duper big bullfrog! but i din kiss it lah. haha.

i can feel the frog's stomach moving out and in. hahahaha. and i thought the frog is super slimey to touch but it is actually quite rubbery.

so the purpose of this checkpoint is to let the students venture out of their comfort zone and erase their fear.

the kids seem to be enjoying themselves. hahaha.

another memorable thing about the camp is i went out to jurong point with 2 colleagues to buy biscuits for the kids, because they were hungry. we went out at 12 midnight! and then on our way to jurong point, we saw cars racing each other, with a hot lady wearing a mini skirt and taking off her underwear and using her underwear to flag off the race. ok i am kidding about the hot lady + underwear part, but i definitely saw the car racing part.

next time if you are at jalan bahtera camp, sungei gedong or ntu, and you need to buy groceries at the 11th hour, no problem! ntuc fairprice at jurong point is open 24 hours! but you must have a car.

for the last day of the camp, the most memorable is when we reach back sch, the whole pe dept went to F.I.S.H restaurant at tampines one for lunch, kindly sponsored by my hod. woo hoo.

the food there is awesome! if you order a main course, you can go to their salad bar and help yourself to the wide range of varieties of salad, and it is buffet style!

for the main course i ordered baked salmon. super delicious. what a wonderful meal to signify the end of the camp.

their cakes were also super delicious. we ordered the RASPBERRY ERUPTION (not erection) and the strawberry swirl.

i will love to bring darling to this restaurant to try the food. :)
