ok below is a series of pics showing my groin getting hit, cos i was wearing groin guard, and my classmate was hitting my groin to test how strong the groin guard is.

my class got 1st runner-up. and the guest-of-honour giving out the prizes is none other than my lecturer, Mr K. dun wanna put his full name cos his name is so popular, sekali he google his own name and found my blog, then ho sei liao. haha. btw he was an ex singapore national sprinter, his 100 m record was held for 33 years, until uk shyam broke it a few years ago. he is indeed a living legend. he now 60 plus years old, still can do countless of push ups and complete 2.4 km under 10 min. solid rite?

my performance is coming. that's why for this week, i have 5 days of dance practise. if include my dance module, i will be dancing for 6 days! haha.

actually the competition is talk cock one lah. i intend to choose the nicest collage and make into a jigsaw puzzle for darling.

so i edited and improvised a bit, and here is the final collage that will be sent to make the jigsaw puzzle:

din really celebrate much of v day, because we have dance practise at night. i drove to darling's house to eat dinner with her, then we went to ucc for dance, and then after that back to darling's house again for the v day celebrations.

first, i took out some candles and make into a heart shape. but some of the stupid candles cannot be lit up. sianz.

darling made a cake for me! there is this shop at jurong point where you can design your own cake. i love the cake darling~ thank you~

next, i gave her the present. i deliberately divide the present into two portions to make it more secretive. i took the jigsaw puzzle out, put all the pieces into a heart-shaped bottle. then i wrap the photo frame separately.

very happy when i saw darling's happy expressions the moment she sees the present. and then we piece the puzzle together, and i present to you, the completed product:

nice a not? haha.

happy v day darling~ very happy to spend the 3rd v day with you, and i am sure there are many many more v days for us to celebrate together. :)

class lunch at new york new york~

today i screwed up my presentation. at the start i stammered a bit, but the more i talk, the more fluent i became. so that is not the screw up part. the screw up part is i missed saying an important component of the presentation! shitz. when i have finished, the lecturer even hinted me, asking me whether isit the end of my presentation. but i din get the hint. haiz stupid me. if its my own individual presentation i will just heck it, cos i am not concerned about grades. but its a group effort, and because of my mistake, i drag my group members down. so sorry gals... (i am the only guy in the 5-person group). thank goodness my group members are very forgiving and they assured me that it is ok.

after the lesson, we went for class lunch at new york new york. my class have 26 pple, and 21 pple turned up for the class lunch. wow this is so amazing. btw just a side note, out of the 26 pple, 13 of them have cars! so next time if we have any class outings, car pool is definitely not a problem.

thursday post

i am at home now. the reason why i am at home because i need to prepare darling's v day present. the present is 80 percent complete! i just need to put the finishing touch. hope that darling will love it. :)

uploaded a few photos, because my camera cable is at home, and for the past week most of my time was spent either in hall or in nus for dance practises. so let's have a bit of memory recap.

on sat night, after dance practise, went to have supper at this halal hk cafe at simpang bedok. thanks to chio outdoor enthusiast for driving us to the east all the way from nus, wasting your precious petrol.

we ordered lots of food, and the ones that stand out are:

look like a big piece of tow kua (豆干), but its actually french toast with peanut butter filling

小麦草汁. this is specially recommended by the towkay neo. taste very nice, especially with the coconut, but comes at $2.80 per cup. -.-'''

steamed xiao long bao with chilli crab fillings. taste a bit weird. the black pepper crap fillings taste better.

and yesterday, went to nus again for dance practise. hz just came back from hk, and bought the super famous 恒香老婆饼. yummy! thanks hz~

din get to buy this when i went to hk. so now got the chance to eat this super famous hk local product, really very happy. :)

ok i have to go prepare tomorrow's presentation. sianz. but the good news is that it will be my last presentation for this sem! yay!

weekend post

hello my dear readers~

sat afternoon went for a handball competition against the different pe classes. i played the position of the goalkeeper again~ relive my ihg handball goalkeeper memories. haha. i think ihg train me to become quite an above average keeper, no thanks to the extremely lousy defence of my hall's handball team. apologies to wuhong and teopeng, i am not trying to be 苛刻, but you yourself noe that there is still alot of room for improvement.

anyway my class got 1st runner up in the tournament. we only lost to our "sister" class. that class has a female national handball player, so having her in the team is like having a guy; a male national water polo player, who has damn big chest muscles, well-defined six pack, huge biceps, but he nv play against us cos he got ihg swimming competition. haha. and that class started training already last year. -.-'''

but my class also not bad! i have the twin towers, both at least 1.8 m tall, and both are ex sch-team bball players. i have two girls who have experience in playing handball for their halls in nus. as for the rest of my classmates, they have awesome fighting spirit and aggressive competitiveness. feel really proud to play together with them in any sport.

one of my classmates brought her cute daughter along! naturally she became the centre of attraction. haha.

and must also thank darling for coming all the way down to support me~ i love you darling. :)

so after the competition, i quickly washed up, and went for dance practise with darling. i couldnt do much, cos my whole body was full of bruises, with aching muscles.

on sunday, went for dance practise again. its really crazy that the number of hours that i spend at ucc is actually longer than my time spent at home. -.-'''

anyway, some of the costumes had arrived, and we tried them and took some photos.

but before i show you the photos, i will give a very rough introduction on the whole dance.

the theme of this dance is deforestation, and the duration of the dance is 25 min. this dance got 5 different segments.

in the first segment, the TREES will come out. there will be a BIRD flying around, then the BIRDMAN will come out and play with the BIRD. (this sounds so wrong)

in the second segment, the NATIVES will come out.

in the third segment, the LOGGERS will come out, and chop all the TREES.

in the forth segment, the LOGGERS will further torture the trees and throw them around.

in the fifth segment, which is also the final segment, the NATIVES will die, the TREES will die, the BIRD will die. only the LOGGERS will survive.

so wat is the morale of the story? those who come out first will die first. HAHA. ok nvm no link.

dance practise

we had dance practise at kevii dance studio.

so during the dance practise, i went to the toilet, and i saw this guy, dressed smartly in pants and short-sleeve shirt, waiting patiently at the stairs outside the dance studio. and then the next few times that i went to the toilet (no thanks to the bladder), he is still waiting there. so i guess that one of the dancers is his gf, but i dunno who the dancer is, but i must say that this guy has damn lots of patience.

at the end of the dance practise, 谜底终于解开了~

he is my choreographer's bf. haha. and he owns a mazda 3~

so when i was walking to the 200 bus stop with yidi, i told him:

"等一下他的车经过我们，最好载我们去 mrt station, 要不然我就刮花他的车!"

of course i said that jokingly, but true enough, a few seconds later, the car stopped beside us, and he gave us a lift to clementi mrt. woo hoo~

so we chatted in the car, and found out that he is working as an engineer, and his name is 五福. haha. can tell that he is a really super nice and gentle guy. very compatible with my choreographer, who is a nice and demure girl too.

told hw about this, and hw said should invite him to my house, then will be 五福临门. huat ah!!!

ok nvm. tomorrow is preview of the dance concert! laoshi is coming to watch! wah lao damn stressed.

before i start the post proper, i will like to announce that i finished my essay yesterday midnight! must thank dashimon and the chio colleague at my ex-workplace for giving me some points. most importantly must thank darling for giving me the motivation, cos i did the essay at her house yesterday night. haha.

not a good student

ever since my jc days, i was nv a good student.

during my uni days, i pon lectures. i hate reading textbooks. i hate writing essays. i do assignments at the last min. i study for tests last min.

right now, i dun pon lectures. actually i cant pon lectures, because if i pon, my pay will be docked. i still hate reading textbooks. i still hate writing essays. BUT, i love being a student. haha.

and right now i am doing a super difficult essay:

hi readers! sorry for the long long absence. nv update blog = nothing happening in my life. haha.

this morning, i went to sentosa with darling, to see the sentosa flowers exhibition. the exhibition is held at two parts of sentosa: imbiah and palawan beach. you can just take the monorail from vivocity and alight at imbiah station and beach station. but now i tell u also no use, cos today is actually the last day of the exhibition! but well i dun think they will like within a few hours remove all the flowers, so if you go today or tomorrow the flowers may still be there? well i dunno, you can go try ur luck.

so at imbiah, these are the attractions you can look out for:

Giant Floral Wall, Golden Harvest, Land of Blue, Land of Pink, Orchid Treasures, Zodiac Plaza, Trees of Life, Land of Gold and Colours of Love.

we thought that it will take quite a while to see finish the whole exhibition, so we met at 10 am, but we tour finish everything in two hours. -.-'''

so since we come all the way to sentosa, might as well spend more time here, so i decided to bring darling to sit the skyride. its my second time, and her first time. :)

after the skyride, we took the monorail back to vivocity. we had our lunch at fig & olive cafe. the cafe food is still not bad, but got this manager with screw-up attitude. we were standing at the entrance of the restaurant, waiting for someone to bring us to our seats, then the manager come over, then i ask him whether the student meal is available for today, cos one meal is 9.90, inclusive of a main course and a orange juice, very wu hua.

so guess wat? the manager's expression, initially smiley smiley, like machiam maths test got 100 marks, and then once i pop the question about the student meal, his face change to sian ji bua look, ma chiam i am the maths teacher that took away the ONE and the ZERO from the 100. wat's up with him man.

but nvm lah, heng the food still not bad and the waitresses' service quite good, so nv spoil my mood.

ok after lunch, we go and watch movie! we watch PUNISHER!!! wah i think is very very nice. but shouldnt have brought darling to watch it, cos is M18, not because of any particular sex scenes, and i must stress that there are NO sex scenes, but because of the violence in the movie. damn gory. the PUNISHER can just use a gun and shoot at the bad guy's face, and the bad guy's face will just blow up with all the red bloody flesh flying everywhere. hahaha. and the number of F words that they use is countless. but overall i like the movie! cant say the same for darling. haha.

the final activity of the day is dance practise at night. presenting to you the dancers:

some are missing, because one went overseas, one busy doing fyp, the other one for some other reason that i not sure of.

this dance is a 25 min item, and got 5 segments. i am involved in 3 segments, which is the 3rd, 4th and 5th segment. the title of the dance is called WOOD, and this dance together with another item, which is also 25 min, will make up the whole performance. its at ucc dance studio, on 28 feb and 1st march. time i dunno yet, but its confirm at night. but the turn-off thing is audience have to sit on the floor.

the majority of the dancers are actually from nus chi dance. then got this small group of dancers which is outsourced by the choreographer, and one of them is my sister's school mate at temasek poly. i watched her dance perf before, she watched my dance perf before, and now we are dancing in the same item. talk about small world.
