i am finally back home after the first week of acsm course.
this week has been quite relaxed, because i am only attending lectures. it is a good break from work. i can even go to darling's house for dinner on tuesday and thursday. :p
get to know new people, and i am happy because the pple are very cooperative, and very nice to talk cock with. no generation gap at all. (16 of them were born in 1989). hahahaha. this shows how old i am. i ORD-ed in 2004 leh for goodness sake.
ok i will like to share a racist joke with everyone.
there were 5 people: superman, batman, wonderwoman, smart malay and stupid malay.
they went to steal a diamond. only one of them stole the diamond successfully.
on wednesday i went to SOTA for a workshop on performing arts. the SOTA building is very beautiful, the school environment is so vibrant, which i think all teachers and students will look forward to go to school everyday. three quarter through i siam the place because i have to go to singapore conference hall for a site visit for my workplace 25th year anniversary celebration.
on thursday i was very happy because i presented the performance proposal to batman and he likes my idea and he approves it. he also added in alot of his ideas because he is also a performing arts person, and he has many experience in organising stage productions.
but as when i was happy i became down again, because i received a complaint from a parent that i let her child do sit ups on a hard concrete floor, which will hurt her backbone. and the second complaint that i got is during the shot put lesson, i did not ask my students to LOCK THE WRIST when throwing the shot put. to be honest i did not tell them to lock the wrist lah. i only told them to rotate their trunk, arms out straight when throwing, and if you use your right arm to throw your left leg must be in front.
what really angers me is that she asked whether am i a trained pe teacher. and i told her proudly that i graduated from nie pess. grrrrr.
towards the end of the conversation she told me that she hoped she is not too demanding.
and i must 声明 that i did not apologise to her. i used polite phrases like "ok thank you for your feedback", "oh ok", "yah can".
one month and a few days into the job as a form teacher and i got my first complaint. good start hor?
today was crazy because i have deadlines to meet and i have to prepare the teaching stuff for the next three weeks because i am not in sch! i will be away for reservist!
but i was happy because students asked me to take care, come back in one piece, and 好好保重，好好照顾自己. one boy most champion, tell me to 一路顺风. hahahaha.
my sch is carrying out a record breaking event (again).
we are collecting as many cans as we can, and then use these cans to form a logo which is 10 metres by 10 metres. the record breaking event is on 20th feb, which is a sunday (boo hoo hoo), and the GOH includes some army guy who holds a very important appointment, plus ministers, including "horse bow wait" [if you can decipher what that means].
anyway i brought my form class to some flats near the school to collect cans from the residents. all the sec one classes are involved. and together with my hod, we did all the SOP, the RAMS, the manpower allocation, the distribution of blocks and all the miscellanous sai gang. pe department also equal to events management company.
these are the cans collected by one group from a block. i still got three other groups in three different blocks.
i gave my class a target of 100 cans. altogether my class collected 200+ cans. i am proud of them.
so many cans!!!
anyway one resident donated a can of abalone. super kua zhang. hahahahaha.
shit i cant believe today is already saturday, tomorrow is sunday, and monday is back to work! how can time pass by so quickly! crazy!
ok yesterday i went to darling's house to eat steamboat and stayed over at her place. i was still a bit sick at that time, and i felt tightness in my chest with some wheezing, so my symptoms of asthma are appearing and i had to use the inhaler. :(
but dun worry, now i am much better already. it must be the love showered by darling. and i spread some of my flu germs to her. haiz. sorry darling.
today we spent the whole morning laughing at taiwan celebrities on tv. good gracious me i really love their variety shows. their comments, their actions and their watsoever are really wassup! but most importantly the female celebrities are pretty and hot. hahahahahaha. especially LIZ.

lunch was home cooked noodles by darling (now you noe why i din raise up my hand), and the ingredients were scallops, prawns, wantons and veges! wah if eat the same bowl of noodles at a restaurant, it will cost at least 15 dollars. :p
after lunch went to partyworld to sing ktv with darling and her two sisters. and i brought darling back home to bai nian and eat dinner. and then darling's family came to tampines to fetch her home, and i brought them to a nearby coffee shop to eat dinner, and i had my supper.

anyway i am sick now. sore throat, cough and flu. supposed to go watch black swan with darling at 12 midnight. but in my present condition i cant even get out of the house. sorry darling~
for today's cny performance there were 3 items. 1st is lion dance, which is hired from outside. 2nd is modern chinese dance. last but not least, is my wushu team.
i choreo-ed 2 items for my wushu team, and to be honest i only started practise for both items only in the second week of january. and the number of practises is very little, because of remedials, schedule clashes and whatever shit.
i also wrote the synopsis for both items, in english and chinese. the english is in my sch laptop, and i have the chinese in my own laptop, so i share the chinese one will do. hahahaha.
the second item i combine 水袖 with 刀对练. a combination of dance and wushu! :)

if you have realised, i dropped my sash towards the end of the performance. costume malfunction again! yawn~~~ :(
but nevertheless it was quite fun choreo-ing the items for my kids, and performing too. and the response was very good, judging from the applause from the audience. :)
