hokkaido day 3

today we are offered an optional tour, called 雪上摩托车. basically is ride on a motor sleigh thingy, then the guide will bring us a tour around the snow mountains to view awesome scenery. but it is bloody expensive. 15,000 yen for one hour, you divide by 60, that is 250 sing dollars for one hour. a bit crazy... i rather spend that money on shopping.


so those who din opt for that tour, we can play in the snow. hahaha. btw my tour group got 23 pple, only 3 pple go for the motor sleigh ride, the rest play in the snow. :p


we built our first snowman!!! remind me of the snowman memories during one of the emcc concerts, whereby myself, hw and laval are the 3 snowmen for shumin's sakura item.

after the snow mountain we go to sight-see places again. we went to a lake, a bear range and hell valley.

the bear range got vending machines for tourists to buy food to feed the bears. some bears very intelligent, and very 心机重, will do anything they can to attract the tourists to throw food to them. 


for example:

bear waving at tourist. bear showing his groin. WIN!!!


ever since that cartoon animal themed party for my birthday, darling love to try on animal hats. hahaha.

i have to try one too! :p




final sight-see place of the day is hell valley.

i think i have been here before. looks familiar.




at night we were given time to explore sapporo city and we have to settle our own dinner. darling has a few wishes before coming to japan: build snowman, eat sushi at sushi restaurant, and the rest i cant remember for now but i am sure i will remember along the way. hahahaha. build snowman wish is granted this morning, so i am going to grant her eat sushi wish! :)

the unagi sushi is so so so GOOD!!! the sushi ah gong chef roast the unagi before serving it to us, and we can apply the sauce on our own. very nice!!! :)


and the chawamushi is also very very good! best chawamushi i ever tasted in my whole life!!! win all the chawamushi in sg.

hokkaido day 2

in the day, we went to random places to sight-see. ok let me recall... got a river, a music box museum and a red color building. 


while walking along the street, we had delicious scallop, steamed sweet potato, cream puff and the famous hokkaido ice cream!

at night went to 白色恋人 chocolate factory. :)

we din buy any 白色恋人 because our tour guide say he will bring us to another shop to buy them at 10% discount and the shop staff will help us pack everything nicely in a box. 




dinner was at this awesome teppan restaurant, where we had free flow of beef, pork, chicken and mutton. yummy!!!

the bad thing about having dinner at teppan restaurant is that the bbq smell lingers on your clothes.


and hor, after the dinner i went to the washroom. on my way there, a girl wave excitedly at me. and i cant recognise her! but i confirm noe that she is a student from my workplace. got so coincidental a not. hahaha.

and tonight there is snow! very very heavy snow! 

very 夸张. imagine next morning you want to drive you see your car like that you also sian ji bua.


for those who want to migrate to a winter country, think twice.

japan trip day 0 & day 1

we went to 3 different airports. changi airport terminal 3, nagoya airport, and sapporo chitose airport.


at nagoya airport we have to wait for 4 hours to take the domestic flight to sapporo chitose. 


then when we reach chitose, we have to wait 3.5 hours for our tour group to arrive from china. they are supposed to arrive at 530 pm, but over at china, their flight got delayed and they only touch down at 730 pm. zzzzzzzzzzzzz...

our first meal in japan:

lobster bisque soup. the flavour is super rich.

at chitose airport. the whole place is like a shopping paradise. even more happening than changi airport.

and our first dinner at hokkaido! not very nice shabu shabu. haha.

one thing i like is that they provide aprons so that the "chup" wun spray on our beautiful clothes. so thoughtful~ seoul garden and those steamboat buffet restaurants should provide these also.

and our hotel, which we will be staying for 3 consecutive nights. i love the big roomy space~ the tokyo hotel that we are staying now is so small and so cramped...

 

later we going to ghibli museum, which is the 宫崎俊 museum. if you dunno who he is, he is the one who created the japanese anime movies, such as ponyo, 龙猫 and howl's moving castle. :)
