first day was orienteering exercise, and trying out the low element and high element obstacles.

orienteering exercise was done at sembawang park. to prepare them for the land expedition at pulau ubin the next day.

second day was the land expedition at pulau ubin.

overall it is quite a fun camp. bonded alot with the teachers through playing taboo, roti prata supper and late night conversations. :)

tomorrow i going for a 3D2N camp at sembawang. with the whole level of sec 2s.


hope that the camp can go smoothly... and have good weather throughout the whole camp.

cooking at home

my parents and younger sis + her bf went to europe for two weeks. they left singapore last sunday and will be coming back next sunday. 


this few days i have been eating out and i really miss home cooked food... so i whipped up two dishes together with darling. :)

kimchi soup with salmon. mine taste a bit bland... probably because i put too much water. my father's one is still the best!

steamed scallops with garlic and vermicelli! this one is nice! and easy to prepare. :)

show choir performance at esplanade

as a performer, i performed at quite a number of places. ucc (countless times), nafa, kallang theatre, singapore conference hall and other random places like shopping malls, community centres, etc etc.


right now there are 3 places that i really really want to perform at: esplanade, indoor stadium and victoria theatre.


and my students from show choir had their opportunity before me. they had a performance at esplanade concourse.

the pretty lady at the right is the choreographer/movement instructor.

we get to keep our own backstage pass as a souvenir!

Avengers

i am very happy to bring my parents to Lido IMAX to watch a movie, and the movie is none other than Avengers! 总算尽了一点孝心。

really an awesome movie!!! must watch!!!

we got the new cca tees for show choir!

each level will wear a colour. sec 1s wear green. sec 2s wear orange. sec 3s wear yellow. sec 4s wear white. the teachers wear pink!

wednesday post

my colleague yvonne has left the service. no more female pe teachers in the dept. boo hoo. 

she is one of the most professional, passionate and dedicated teachers i have ever seen, who really put her heart and soul into teaching, and her heart and soul into managing the cca that she love, that is netball. 


the picture above, was the pe dept in 2010. we have 8 pe teachers! and we have 3 female pe teachers! but right now after she is gone, there are no more female pe teachers. liyana, the most tanned one, is at a famous girls sch situated in the east. lydia, the fairest one, has converted to teaching chemistry only. 


the guy on the extreme left of the photo, chew wei lip, who also went with me to tokyo, will be taking a year of no pay leave from june 2012 to june 2013. the two of us are the "showy" or "special" people in the department, or even in sch, because we are the best at doing special effects. he is called the special effects king (SEK) while i am being called the special effects coordinator (SEC). hahahahaha. 


anyway yvonne left some presents on my desk before she left. saw them on my desk this morning when i reach sch.

you see? i always bring positive energy and life to pple around me! hahahahaha. this one is something that i learn from xue hong. must always be hyper and happy to influence people around me positively. :)

grace secret bday celebration

grace's bff, ms oh jingwen, planned a surprise birthday party for grace on the 27th april, when her birthday was on 4th april. maybe grace is a super popular girl and she has birthday celebrations with her different cliques of friends and family all the way from 4th april to 26th april and hence the next available date that jingwen can get is 27th april. 

anyway the theme for the party is flowery. and because we have mr xue hong, who is always very competitive when it comes to winning the best dressed for a themed party, start to generate ideas on what to wear. no wonder he is the GWH choreographer. 

so after much decision, the four of us, xuehong, nzj, myself and hw, decided to become F4. but the sad thing is hw cannot make it to the party so the best we can do is to put him on the ipad. 

and i personally designed this two photos:

the party started at 715 pm. but we were late because i came back home late from school. we only reached at 815 pm, when everybody had played the games and eating the macdonald meals.

labour day post

today is tuesday blues because i stayed up until 5 am to watch man city vs man u, and man u lost the match by a goal. and it is so coincidental that man city's home jersey is blue in colour. 


and our queue number for a certain flat in woodlands is 187, with only 91 units left (cue thunder and lightning).  this makes the blues even blue-er. 


i shall eat lunch at home and travel to woodlands and cry in darling's arms. i am a strong man. i will survive. 


just to add some humour to reduce the effect of tuesday blues:
