emotions

i dunno how to say about this but i think the relationship has reached a stagnant stage. everyday is a routine, where we wish each other good morning, chat over msn at night, asking each other what we did for the whole day, what did we eat for lunch and dinner, then when we are about to sleep, we sms each other good night.

to me all these is simple, but i still feel 幸福 that i got someone who will always be there for me, wishing me good morning and good night everyday.

i dunno whether it goes the same for the other half. i am afraid that she is finding the relationship boring and want some surprises or something more from me, but unfortunately, i cant think of any surprises to make her happy.

all i noe is that i love her. does she still love me?

good friday post

so today is good friday. not any difference for me since i am now on study break all the way to 22nd april, which is my first paper. but i think the rest will treasure this day, because its a long weekend.

went to changi airport with darling to send hw off. he is going for a 2-weeks europe trip. so lucky. let me go for a 2-weeks holiday i also happy. no need to go europe. just go batam, every day swim, eat seafood, do spa, for the whole of 2 weeks, i contented already.

ohhhh as for the cats rehearsal thingy rite, EVERYONE in nus theatre studies get to watch! my little sis told me one, cos she is from theatre studies. that's why only two pathetic slots are allocated to nuscd.

so after sending hw off, we went to walk around at T3. then after that we went to expo to check out the john little sale and books warehouse sale. wah there were so many pple at john little sale. the queues are damn long. simply deter me off from buying anything, which i think is good. haha. the books warehouse sale not that many pple, but the queue is quite long too. and they sell soccer stars biographies at five dollars only! omg so cheap.

and then got the megatex sale - the most complete electronics show. basically is a smaller version of IT fair, with lesser pple, which is good, cos dun need to squeeze and rub shoulders with pple.

so at megatex, i spent 399 bucks on...

yes, a new camera. panasonic dmc-fx38. original price was 499, but selling at a special price of 399, with 2 x 8GB sd card, travelpack usb card reader, mini tripod, camera case, camera cleaning kit, and 40 dollars takashimaya voucher! good deal isnt it?

so if you itching to spend your money (since pay day is here, but no performance bonus for the nie student teachers haiz sadded), go to EXPO now!

i think they should give me more freebies for helping them to publicise. haha.

in the mood to travel

i am now doing my final assignment for this semester. this assignment quite siong, alot of things need to be done, so do until quite stressed.

so to relax myself, i went to facebook, and saw some pictures of australia uploaded by my ex-colleague. he takes very nice pictures, and after all he was my contract sch's official photographer. haha.

the place looks like bedok jetty. and the sunset is very beautiful. together with the silhouette of the pple. wow so nice.

tech class

this post is dedicated to ms tan zn.

she said she is very proud of me because i attended tech class.

so for tech class, i did footwork.

i did splits.

i did pirouettes.

i did all kinds of leaps and jumps.

but of course i nv do as well as those pple above. i think i only did like one percent of their 功力.

oh i also did 平转, then after doing i felt very giddy, and start to walk side-ways, and bang into someone's leg, and also bang into a bench. yay.

and i must thank huishi and mike for guiding a super lost me. thank you very much. *bows*

阿桑 passed away

singer 阿桑 passed away on monday 6th april due to breast cancer.

may everyone mourn for her.

本名黄嬿璘的阿桑，因为歌声很沧桑，唱片公司为了帮她取个比本名更好叫的小名，从她的歌声中想到了“桑”，就取名叫阿桑。

巧合的是，阿桑的出道经验就像艺名一样。

阿桑和父母为了躲债，从国中开始就住在阿姨家，为了减轻阿姨的负担，阿桑从小就在家帮忙做手工赚零用钱。从折塑料花、包巧克力包装纸、电子工厂拼凑主机板零件等各式各样的工作都做过。

天生爱表演的阿桑，高中选读了影剧相关科系，毕业后由于爱表演，又想赚钱贴补家计，所以考入艺工队。在艺工队待了5年，离开之前与朋友的朋友，与一些原本不认识的人组乐团，打算到pub去打拼、露脸。

阿桑因为演唱《蔷薇之恋》片尾曲而走红，总共发行过两张专辑。去年十月被检查出乳癌末期，于今(6日)早八点半，病逝于新店慈济医院。

today we had our final lesson of this semester in nie.

post wo/od celebrations

mike is very nice to book a hotel suite at amara hotel for our post wo/od celebrations. then he sms us the room number. darling thinks it sounds so wrong, cos its like we are going to the hotel room to provide sexual services. haha.

reached the hotel lobby and also saw hw. wat a coincidence. so we took the lift up together, knock on the hotel room door, and someone opened the door, and this someone caught us by surprise, because he is not in the wo/od cast. hahahaha. anyway he is none other than fen.

so we had finger food like nachos and sushi. also got red wine and bailey's irish cream! heng i drove, so got excuse not to drink.

and then mummy came, and she brought a game called guesstures. it is just like charades, act out something, then have to guess the word. some words are very easy to act and guess, for example ponytail, earring. then the super hard ones to act and guess are vitamin, pancake and thumbtack. i was acting out the vitamin and my dear hw can tell me its viagra. -.-'''

we were divided into two teams. team A consists of the trees and one native. they call themselves team PRADA, because i bought prada shades for darling. haha.

and team B consists of mike, fen, the loggers, and the mother tree. we call ourselves prata, because yesterday i went to eat prata at upper thomson road. wah the prata damn shiok man. especially the durian and banana prata. eat already really can orgasm.

darling's birthday celebrations

went to darling's house on friday night to celebrate her birthday. her birthday was actually on saturday, but because it also falls on 清明节, so not very nice to cut cake on 清明节, so her family decided to cut the cake earlier on friday night.

i bought 2 presents for darling. very pretty gobi desserts which you cant bear to eat them. 6 for $12.80. and a pair of PRADA shades. real genuine prada shades. not pirated ones bought at pasar malam.

darling can be the female lead of a new movie, titled DARLING WEARS PRADA. ok nvm not funny.

(next time hollywood can hire me to design movie posters.)

this afternoon i brought darling to blue lobster seafood restaurant at frankel avenue. but the weather isnt being kind to me. its raining elephants and dinosaurs, and driving through the ENORMOUS rain is like driving through a fog. but thank goodness we arrived there safely, without any physical inflict on us and the car. ok maybe just a few raindrops on us.

when we reach the restaurant, we were the only customers! hahaha probably because of the heavy rain everybody stays at home. ma chiam like i 包下整个餐馆.

ok so our starter was 2 pieces of bread. one piece of bread for each of us.

next was foie gras. aka 鹅肝. my second time eating it, darling's first time eating it.

then comes our 4-course set lunch. the first course is seafood chowder soup, served with a piece of bread again. the soup is POWER! the ingredients in the soup are generous, got prawn, clams, small pieces of salmon and mussels!

second course is the main course. i ordered australian beramudi. its some kind of fish found in australia. darling ordered emperor snapper.

just by the pics you all can imagine how nice the fish taste rite? yah really taste damn nice. the fish is pan grilled to perfection. and the fish is really very very fresh. thumbs up! and the mash potato also taste fabulous.

third course is coffee/tea. i drank coffee and darling drank tea.

the last course was dessert. 2 pieces of cakes. doesnt taste fantastic. but well, life is nv perfect, so is ok to have a small disappointment in an otherwise nearly perfect and delicious lunch.

oh and the whole bill adds up to a grand total of $84.90!!! haha nvm lah is darling's birthday, so splurge once a year is definitely not a problem. for those who want to go, if you have hsbc or citibank credit card, is 1-for-1!!! i think hsbc and citibank credit card got alot of good offers and rewards. think i should close my posb account and transfer my money to either hsbc or citibank. the long queues at posb atms are really a major turn-off.

went to vivo to watch the departures!

really a very nice movie. my tears dropped at the last scene, when the male lead did the 洗尸 process for his dad. the male lead looks damn 帅 when he is playing the cello, and the music is very nice, and i have the music playing on my blog now! haha.

after that go to amara hotel for the WO/OD 庆功宴. i shall blog about it the next time.

air tickets

in dec 2008, i went to taiwan with darling. the air ticket plus airport taxes for one person cost a whooping $778.

on the 1st of march 2009, i went to natas fair with my friends. we bought a package, which includes flight to kaoshiung, 2 nights stay at a 3-star hotel at kaoshiung, and a return flight to singapore from taipei. and the package costs us $630 (including airport taxes)!!!

wat a big difference man.

so morale of the story is, dun go to taiwan in december, because its the holiday season, and the planes need more fuel to fly because weather more cold.

anyway i think now is a good time to introduce my two travel companions for the upcoming taiwan trip.

they are my classmates in nie. and they are damn outstanding sportsmen. with exceptional leadership qualities.

1) kang chien (also known as kc)

pet sport is basketball and water polo. was in the basketball sch team during sec and jc, and also in the hall team during ntu/nie. he played as goalkeeper in water polo for his hall. and he was the jcrc president for his hall. woo hoo.

2) zhenhong

wah he play almost every sport. and good at almost every sport. he plays volleyball, basketball, soccer and sepak takraw. represent his sec sch and hall for volleyball. represents his jc and hall for basketball. plays as a striker for his hall soccer team. also play as striker for his hall takraw team. either captain or coach of volleyball teams that he is in. so if really want to choose one pet sport for him, it has to be volleyball.

hope we will have a fun trip together.
