made a trip down to mediacorp again to watch the live recording of OMG!
its nice to see my nuscd friends who came to support - hw, mummy, chio outdoor enthusiast, gorgeous grace and xuefen! and its also nice to see hw loving the show so much, salivating at desert roses and vertical dancers (oops hope i din get u in trouble).
presenting to you the 4 groups of contestants that i most look forward to watch:
who else but rhythm & moves? one is my hall friend cum nuscd friend cum choreographer who brought me into dance. one is also another choreographer whom i have worked with, and he cooks vegetarian bee hoon. the final one, sadly until now i dun have any chance to work with him yet or perform with him on the same stage, but i believe the chance will come soon!
i love his fire stunts. i love his showmanship. i love his performance. i love the aura that he gives on stage. very very strong aura that people just cant take their eyes off him.
the stunning and attractive vertical dancers! who make pole dancing look so easy! and they have very nice abs! like wat flying dutchman always say: "I AM SO GLAD THAT I AM A MAN." hahaha.
upon seeing this, need we say anymore? they are really very sexy and they always connect very very well with the judges and audience. (i can still remember dancing with the belly dancer at turkey hahahaha).
and at this point, it is most fitting for me to say that in my heart and in my eyes, darling is the prettiest and sexiest woman, who cares if she cant pole dance or belly dance.

class bonding!
it was a very fun day with my form class. :)
we did the following activities:
1) watch horror movie
i always enjoy myself when playing taboo. hahahaha.
i zao-genged. boo hoo~
this boy is very very horny, and at the age of 15 his horny-ness can fight with hw. naturally me and him click very well. hoho.
yong chun donnie yen vs yong chun michelle yeoh
wow he can do a split! not surprising, because he is a sepak takraw player. takraw players are very flexible, especially the strikers, because they must do the scissors kick.
another flexible girl! she is not a dancer, but a skipper. yes she performs with a skipping rope and has performed locally and internationally, including countries like france, hong kong and japan! fen if you are reading this, she is from jumping jewel!
we did the following activities:
1) watch horror movie
scared and happy at the same time.
2) playing monopoly
3) eating oishi pizza! i ordered 4 flavours - kimchi chicken, unagi, wasabi seafood and veggie supreme (one of my students is a vegetarian). the most popular flavour is kimchi chicken!
4) playing cards
5) playing taboo! i still remember the crazy times when playing taboo with fen, nzj, hw and hz at hong kong, where we have to say a story with the word 'prostitute' before describing the word, and hw became very excited.
6) playing twister!
i zao-genged. boo hoo~
and of course, taking lots and lots of pics.

do you see the korea and japan jersey hanging on the wall? i set the theme as japan/korean, but sadly nobody dressed according to the theme, EXCEPT FOR MYSELF. NUSCD dancers are more onz (fen organised a jap/korean party at his house and i was dressed as a ninja). hahaha.
if any of you are guessing where is the place, the place is none other than... MY HOUSE!

thursday post
went to darling's house for dinner tonight, and then we wanted to go check out woodlands ave 9, because that is the place for the new BTO flats.
and hor, suddenly, very randomly, darling's parents and sis also came along with us! so i was driving my future in-laws for a ride! *STRESSED*
but luckily all goes well. except for the location of the flats, which was very inaccessible. so we decided not to ballot for it, and shall wait for better choices.
after that darling and i went to watch LEGEND OF THE FIST: RETURN OF CHEN ZHEN. honestly, its not that fantastic. ip man is still nicer.

one moment of glory
here i am sitting comfortably on my sofa, watching one moment of glory on channel 5.
and i actually watched the live recording of the show at mediacorp on monday! how cool is that! anyway if you all still dunno, three of my dance friends, fen, liang bin and derek are competing in OMG (one moment of glory), and their group name is called rhythm & moves. they are special because they are the only chinese dance cum martial arts group!
the experience at mediacorp was very fun. i get to cheer loudly, wave the poster boards wildly, blow whistle frequently. its quite shiok to use this as an outlet to let loose of myself after a tiring day of work. i will love to watch the future live recordings again!
as usual some pics, taken by my colleague, who is a music teacher. darling cant come with me because she got work to do, so i asked my colleague whether she wanna come along and she agreed. and i got tell darling first ok! and darling is cool about it. i got a very gracious gf! and at the same time i respect my gf. 世界没有怕女朋友的男人,只有尊敬女朋友的男人. and the 男人 is me! haha.
singapore char siew baos. and their collaborator is the very attractive eunice olsen! eunice olsen can play the piano very very well! she is AWESOME!
luminique crew, a group that does breakdancing. their collaborator is an actress who was ms malaysia! i love the comment from suhaimi (one of the judges): "thank you for making a beautiful ms malaysia turn into a beautiful pontianak". hahahaha.
rhythm & moves! they all look so shag after performing, because of the crazy lifts + fast&furious actions. another classic comment from suhaimi: "wah like watching movie leh... crouching tiger hidden PRAWN... can you all do it again?" *three of them giving a stunned + more shag expression*
the popular danny koh, who plays with fire! he is stepping on this fire-eater called bosco, and bosco is lying on pieces of broken glass! ouch!
david lin, handsome singer, but his singing was a bit off tune. his collaborators, jack and rai, are very good performers!
jill marie, very cool rock singer, and her collaborator is slyvester sim! win liao lor. and all the judges love her! haha.
the superb vertical dancers! three of them fit on one pole! its amazing! and their pole dance is not sleazy at all! its graceful and athletic! their collaborator, melissa yeo (a model) is very pretty! another humorous comment from suhaimi: "how i wish i was the POLE." hahahahaha.
all right, so if any of you are reading this now, and are friends of fen, liang bin or derek, pls vote for them so that they can stay in the competition and earn the grand prize of 50,000 dollars! sms 4 to 71199! voting closes at 12 am tonight! :)

my first cake baking experience
today darling came to my house, and we baked a cake together. i got the recipe from my mum, and the cake is actually called light choco yellow cake, which is yellow in color with brown lines within the yellow cake, if you can visualise what i mean.
but the cake turns out to be:
.
.
and darling said our cake looks like.............................
.
so do you all agree? hahahahahaha.
nevertheless we are proud of our cake, as its our first attempt in baking a cake, and we shall bake nicer ones in future!

friday post
i got my class photos, dept photos and cca photos!
here's some of them:
that's my form class. i am the co-form. with very nice students. and a very nice form, who is the same age as me, and also in the same jc as me! during our jc days we din see each other before. haha sg is very small.
the pe dept! i think my sch is one of the few secondary schools that has EIGHT pe teachers. or maybe its the only sch? hahaha. anyway one has gone to nie (the malay lady in black), and one is on half load (the chinese lady in grey). the shaolin monk standing on the balancing beam at the right of the pic is my hod. i hope he dun read this. hahahahaha.
the sci dept! the hod is the one standing right in front, at the left of the picture. the super zai discipline master is standing right at the back.
my wushu kids! i made them do this pose. hoho. still remember who is the kung fu panda?
this afternoon i went to nanyang poly with 2 of my kids to witness the 40th National Colors Award Presentation and inaugural National School Games Closing ceremony. i saw a few of my pe classmates bringing their students. seems that hods have the same mentality, which is to arrow their new blood to bring students for this kind of excursion.
both are from my form class, and both are from netball.
and i just came back from nus, watching the handball sunig games. ntu girls won the gold medal, beating nus, smu and sim. ntu boys won silver, losing to nus, and winning smu and sim.
the ntu girls were marvellous, who won nus convincingly, when nus has been the handball powerhouse for many many years.
the ntu boys were valiant in their efforts too, only lost to nus by 3 goals, which was a very very tough fight.
i am in an awkward position because i graduated from nus, and yet i played for ntu. what an irony. hahaha. i wonder will i be able to make it to the nus ivp team if i was still an undergraduate. probably not. :p
anyway i always feel quite 遗憾 that i do not have a coach to teach me the proper goalkeeping techniques, and to give me advice on how i should improve. if i ever have this opportunity, i will definitely grab it!

teaching taiji
yesterday was staff bonding session. there were a number of workshops that are conducted by teachers. there is a coffee painting workshop (using coffee powder to paint pictures); tea appreciation workshop; malay kuih making workshop; quiche making workshop and last but not least, a taiji workshop conducted by me!
as you all might know my strength is not in taiji, so i just teach my colleagues the taiji dance choreo-ed by liangbin. hahaha. and then after that i teach them wushu, and i get my male colleagues to teach unarmed combat, self defence and yong chun!
yes i know that the amount of pple that signed up for my taiji workshop is a bit disappointing. but nevertheless, we had an interesting combined martial arts workshop.
anyway the guy in red is learning yong chun now, and during the dec holidays i will be going to learn with him from a yong chun master! woo hoo!

saturday post
my blog is getting dusty.
*blows at my blog*
*cough cough*
if you understand what i mean.
this morning i went to nus to play handball with my hall. i had a fun time because i was playing with the winning team. haha.
and then in the evening i delivered mooncakes to darling's house, and then our plan was to go to sunset grill at seletar camp for their spicy chicken wings. but when we reach there there were so many cars which means many many pple. so we decided not to eat there and come on a weekday instead, hopefully there will be lesser pple.
we took pics of the magnificent sunset. :)
(i love this tree, and also love this pic. the tree looks like the one in my sassy girl.)
we had dinner at this shabu shabu restaurant at katong, and then we went to sing ktv at teo heng! teo heng has upgraded! its marvellous! and it is still very cheap!
tmr afternoon attending my friend's wedding lunch, and after that i hope i can finish setting the two exam papers!
