saturday the staffroom was open because of sec 3 camp, so i went back to do some stuff. i was told by my colleagues that the previous night was very eventful. residents complain that the students are too noisy so the police came. and then in the middle of the night the fire alarm got triggered off because one of the computer labs were being barged in, but after checking the 3 computer labs, the doors are still locked and remain intact. very strange.
and the worst thing is the electricity of the staffroom toilets got cut off. hence my colleages have to pee, shit and bathe in the dark. how scary rite?

on saturday night i went to watch 'The Tourist' with darling at gv yishun. angelina jolie is very pretty. johnny depp finally looks normal, because of his roles in pirates of the carribean and alice in wonderland. hahaha.
today went to marina square with darling to shop for cny clothes but we din get anything. and then darling followed me back to my house to have dinner.
sounds boring but having darling's company is always the best. :)
alot of pple went to taiwan, are now at taiwan, and are going to taiwan! fen went to taiwan to be his friend's best man, and i dunno whether he is back already. hw should be in taiwan now taking wedding photos. my little sis is going to taiwan for holiday in june.

i cant wait for my next overseas holiday!!! and it is still only week 3 of sch. ultimate sadness.
it is already the second week of sch.
i ate lunch today at 230 pm. to me, it is simply bliss when a colleague drove some of us out to a nearby coffee shop to eat chicken rice from a stall that is quite well-known. even though we ate at 230 pm.
tomorrow i am going to sungei gedong camp for a pre-course briefing. i am attending the armour csm course from 14th feb to 4th mar. boo hoo hoo. i siam for 3 years, finally i am attending this year.
i hope there are other ns men who are taking the course with me. i dun want to be the only ns men, then kenna ostracised by the regulars.
now is already 630 pm and i am still in the staffroom, marking diagnostics test papers.
wow, i have not blogged for 4 days?!
this shows how busy teachers are during the first week of sch. everything is just going on too fast, and too haywire. on top of all the normal lessons and cca, there is also sec 1 orientation, which i myself is involved too, cos i am sec 1 form teacher.

i was so tired after the whole thing. and slept alot. i slept at 12 midnight yesterday and woke up at 9 am today. then i took two naps. nap 1 is from 1030 am to 1230 pm. nap 2 from 2 pm to 4 pm. shiok!!!
first day of sch started on a bad note.
i woke up in the morning and went to shit. very little shit came out. got this feeling that i will shit later again.
and then when i was walking to sch, the feeling to shit suddenly came. and it came when i still need 5 more minutes of walking then i will reach sch. so i was breathing heavily like a pregnant lady, except that a pregnant lady wants to push her baby out, but i need to suck my shit in. finally i reached sch, a few students greeted me and i still have to put on a strong front and smiled at them and waved at them.
finally i went into the toilet... PHEW~
the feeling of ultimate shiokness. hahahahahahaha.
my form class is ok (btw i am the form teacher of the first express class of sec one). just that most of them are very quiet, and they dun dare to speak up. except for two boys in the class, very hyperactive and talkative. one of them has ADHD.

darling suspects i got ADHD too, because i always shake my leg when i am sitting down. hahahahaha.
made lunch for myself today. god knows when will be the next time i can cook maggi mee at home, and then eat the cooked maggi mee while watching tv. simplicity is bliss.
potato wedges are leftovers from mike's new year party. i brought back six boxes of wedges! now left one and a half boxes in the fridge. hahaha.
and then i went to cut my hair, because must show positive example to my male students. if i can bear to cut my hair, my male students should cut their hair too. when they graduate they can grow their hair as long as they want, even as long as rapunzel i also dun care.

i think the meal was quite refreshing because it has been ages since i ate authentic indian food. darling and leow chee leong felt that the food was too salty. they kept drinking water.
omg sch is starting tmr!!! seriously??!! i cant believe it!!!
and i cant sleep! maybe i should read a storybook, hopefully it will put me to sleep.
on the first day of 2011, michael invited the nuscd dancers to his new apartment at city square residences for a gathering. city square residences is just beside city square shopping mall, and from his apartment (29th storey!!!) can see the magnificient city landscape, and can also see the fireworks! no need to charter duck tours boat. no need to squeeze with everybody at esplanade area. can just watch the fireworks from the comfort of home, with family members and close friends. how nice!
the gathering was held at the condo's function room, because there were too many of us, cannot squeeze inside his apartment.

on new year eve, i woke up at 1130 am, and then rush to NEX to meet mak hongsen and leow chee leong for lunch. our new year eve lunch was at 鲜得来. the restaurant serves steamboat buffet, and their buffet comes in a beautiful porcelain pot, which looks like the pot where the emperor pee inside or rinse his mouth and spit all the water inside. hahahahaha.
it is not too bad lah. price per pax around 35 bucks, after all the plus plus. the service of the waiters and waitresses also very good. dun mind coming here again.
at night went to clarke quay with my parents and darling. my auntie chartered a duck tours boat, which cost 900 bucks. she also invited her temple friends, which included the abbots and a few monks. i dunno wat were the monks thinking when they were at clarke quay, seeing all the women dressed so sexily in body hugging dresses, revealing cleavages and all types of skin. ohmmmmmm~
so the duck tours boat ride was from clarke quay to the esplanade river, where we can see the fireworks very very clearly! it is definitely the best view!
