arts excursion to the esplanade!

today i brought my sec 3 students to the esplanade for arts excursion! the excursion comprises of a tour to the theatre and concert hall, followed by a live band performance at the theatre studio.

two more days to the long awaited SUPER LONG WEEKEND! endure!!!

thursday post

it is my pleasure to know mr amin, who is a phenomenal dancer. i got to know him because he is the choreographer for my show choir. and after we became friends on facebook, i realised how awesome he is and i must say that my show choir kids are really privileged to be taught by him!

today was his last day teaching them. he is really a busy person with alot of other commitments. we are thankful to him for his wonderful guidance for the past 7 months! anyway the above 3 girls are not originally from show choir. i recruited them from chinese dance so that they can add more stage presence. and the tall girl in the middle is insanely flexible!!! she is 1.72 m??!! 

after that i went to extract my two premolars from the bottom row teeth. the extraction was a bit scary but still ok because the female dentist is very gentle yet efficient. 

now that they are extracted, i can go do the braces for the bottom row teeth tomorrow!

tuesday post

very long never blog because my laptop crashed last thursday. :(

and i finally got it back today!

on sunday we celebrated nzj's birthday. it was meant to be a surprise, and even merllie's son (his name is song yi) was activated. we really surprised him because when he opened the door and saw song yi looking at him, he teared immediately. first time i ever see nzj cry! i was surprised too. 

in the evening i went to suntec city with darling to watch The Big Groove. very very nice performance, with awesome video camera effects, beautiful stage lighting, and amazing dancers. sheikh haikel was really funny as the emcee. my favourite crew were jinjo crew from korea and quick crew from norway!

last friday and today i took some photos with my show choir. 

to be very honest, i am much happier being the teacher in-charge of show choir compared to being the teacher in-charge of wushu. 

and it is so ironic that in 2010 my VP requested for me to go back to the workplace so that i can be the teacher in-charge of wushu. 

be it wushu or show choir, i will still contribute my very best to the workplace! :)
