the first day of our macau & hk trip! we took tiger air to macau, and the flight was at 610 am and i had less than 3 hours of sleep because i watched man u vs hull city until 1 am.
we reached macau international airport at 940 am and we can definitely make it for the shuttle bus at 10 am. we are staying at grand emperor hotel and i checked online that the frequency of the grand emperor shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel is one hour. but we waited until 1020 pm, and saw the buses of grand lisboa, venetian, wynn and galaxy leaving the airport at 5 min frequencies.
i gave up waiting, and suggested to darling that we take the galaxy shuttle bus to galaxy, then from galaxy we take the shuttle bus to macau ferry terminal, whereby the frequency of the grand emperor shuttle bus from macau ferry terminal is just 15 minutes. darling agreed and off we go!
our first photo at macau! taken at galaxy hotel, where darling and i stayed at in 2012. check out their big big diamond!
more photos at galaxy macau!
we finally reached grand emperor hotel! did the checking in and because the rooms are still unavailable, we placed our luggage at the concierge and off we went for lunch! i made a booking at The Eight, situated at Hotel Grand Lisboa. The Eight is a 3-star michelin restaurant. enough said.
