it is totally unbelievable, but i dare to say that i did harbour some hope that they can get first, and i also told them that, but during the rehearsal they screwed it up badly and i was so traumatised, so myself and eudora got them to practise a few more times.
it was really a mad adrenaline rush to do the change over from the first song costume to the second song costume. crazy!!! and i did make-up for my five boys (yup only five boys out of the 26-pax show choir), using the amateur make-up skills that i learnt from my shows with nuscd. hahahahaha.

christopher nolan has done it again, successfully delivering the 3rd movie of the batman series - dark knight rises.
i was glued to my seat throughout the 2 hour 45 minutes, and my eyes were glued to the screen. ok lah i occasionally turned my head towards darling a few times and kissed her on the cheek and forehead. and it is miraculous that i did not go to the washroom! the awesomeness of the movie stopped the functioning of my bladder.
my eyes teared when bruce wayne picked himself up after his failure, trained hard to fight against his nemesis, sacrificing himself for the people and the city that he grew up in.
anne hathaway is already pretty and hot in person, and she looks even more hot in the catwoman costume.
recognise them? the person on the extreme left is the director, christopher nolan.
and i found out that the actor who starred as bane is tom hardy, the same person who acted as the special agent (the one with the british accent) in this means war! wow. he really beefed up alot for the role as bane.
tom hardy is the one on the right. the less handsome one.
i am the singaporean version of bane. haha.
after the movie darling and i went to amkss to "spy" on their arts festival. this "spy" mission is given to me by batman (the one from my workplace). omg their arts festival was really super happening and super large scale. they have all classes from sec 1 to sec 3 and the performing arts ccas to perform! and the performance showcases are held concurrently at different locations of the school: parade square, classroom blocks, indoor sports hall, and canteen.
met my pe friend james who is a teacher there, and he told me this project took half a year to prepare, and it is also outsourced to a company.
darling and i are totally amazed by their lightings. they even have two follow spot light.

a sec 4 student dressed as an english lady. i thought she is from english drama but when i ask her she told me she is from track & field.

at the last five minutes there is a finale in the form of a flash mob, whereby all the students dance at the parade square. they call it the tomato dance, and the song that they use is "marcerena", super popular in the 1990s.
it is a really super big project and if i can implement this in my workplace, i can die without regrets. hahahahaha. but i need lots of help from my colleagues and students. i cant do this alone!

my colleague simin is leaving the workplace for one year, for further studies in australia.
when i first came into the workplace in 2010 as a new teacher, i was allocated to be the co-form of 3E2, and she was the form teacher.
in 2011, i became the form of 1E1, while she follow up with them to sec 4 in 2012.
4E2 2011 is really the best class i have ever taught. they already set the baseline.
but anyway, since simin is leaving, i organised a farewell party for her and got the 4E2 students to come back.
this is super epic. because i thought i nv set my camera to timer mode but in fact i did set. haha.

he is going to queens park rangers. probably because the soccer club also got the word 'park'? haha ok a bit no link. anyway i really like him as a player. he is the pride of asia because he plays so well for manchester united, and is well liked by both sir alex ferguson and the fellow manchester united players.
one day if he retire from soccer and dun want to be a coach, he can join running man. he is really funny in the episodes and adapt very well to running man! i especially like the part when kwang soo want to go up to him and hug him, and he pushed kwang soo away. *cue kwang soo's background music playing*

friday night i had dinner with yvonne (who resigned in april) and my pe colleagues, at egg and berries.
i ordered the salmon as my main course. loved the salmon (pan fried to perfection), the poached egg (one small poke and the egg yolk juice flows out beautifully) and the butter pancakes (with choice of strawberry, maple and chocolate syrup!).
from changi city point i went to changi airport terminal 3 to have a surprise birthday celebration for xuehong. the celebration was planned by xiaoyun. xiaoyun gave xuehong two clues to reveal the location of the birthday celebration but unfortunately the second clue made xuehong clueless and he had to walk around the whole of terminal 3. i think he was a bit pek chek. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
saturday morning i brought my kids back to my primary school for a carnival. the carnival involves a record breaking event (bouncing paper balls with the hand continuously for five min), sports competitions and a day version of pasar malam.
after the carnival i rush to tanjong pagar cc for dance rehearsal. the rehearsal ended at 330 pm and i made a trip down to bugis+ to recee joyden hall, where we will be performing this saturday. the human traffic and vehicle traffic was CRAZY!!! i cannot imagine having 3 school buses contributing to the already congested vehicle traffic, with 122 students adding on to the shoppers' population.
on sunday it was dance all the way from 9 am to 6 pm. i was so tired after that and i drag my tired body to marriott poolside grill for my mum's and sister's birthday dinner. we had another celebration because my little sis just came back from US on saturday. my mother thought something was wrong with me because i did not utter a single word. :p
upon reaching home i quickly wrote xiang deli's testimonial because he has a interview for a teaching position at a prestigious institution. and i went to sleep and woke up at 245 am to watch the euro final of spain vs italy. spain won italy 4 - 0 and i must say they really played well and are worthy champions.
today i am going to meet darling!!! she just came back from australia yesterday!!! =D
