friday post

today was the last day for the pe trainees. they were here for five weeks of practicum.

they are very sweet. wrote a card for each of us, and gave us a nike water bottle.

water bottle from them. bouquet of flowers and sword loaned from me.

mask loaned from me also. hahaha.

真是爱演  (跟我一样)。

i taught her this and she gamely did it. hahahaha.

after that went for lunch with batman, robin and victor. batman wants to treat victor and me to reward our efforts in putting up a successful performance night. we ate at nydc at tampines 1. :)

and then in the evening went to nus ucc to watch syf closing. xuehong has complimentary tickets! thank you xuehong! i managed to get two more tickets from him for my students to watch.

the closing ceremony was great! my favourites were xue hong's item and the malay dance item choreographed by mr osman.

my two students. they are performers for my b2b dance drama production. they got something going on but they are still denying. hahahahaha.

above was the rumoured couple. this is the actual couple. for 4 years and 9 months! and still counting! :)

cooking with darling!

japanese scallops and prawns, bought from ntuc in the morning. darling was the one frying them. they look delicious!!!

scallops and prawns with tomato sauce! :)

and this is our extra dish:

salmon with teriyaki sauce! salmon filet from ntuc. teriyaki sauce from this bbq kebab shop at causeway point.

our first spaghetti cooking experience was dunno how many years ago. i remember both of us were a bit gan jiong and perspiring.

this time we were quite fast in preparing our lunch. hahahaha. the salmon was quite easy to prepare. cut the filet in smaller pieces, squeeze some lemon juice, add some pepper, cut a few slices of ginger, dump the salmon and ginger onto aluminium foil, drench the salmon with teriyaki sauce, put everything in a toaster, 15 min later can eat already!

home cooked food is always the best! especially if is cooked by your beloved one. :)

b2b celebration party

food catered from elsie's kitchen. just to clarify, i am not treating them hor. victor (my producer) also not treating them. it is the workplace that is treating them. 240 student performers + 25 teachers leh! no joke man...

walking around to make sure they got enough food to eat.

yay i can eat already~ :)

the lady beside me is a senior teacher, also my school's staff developer, and she also do chinese dance.  the uncle on the right is hod of maths. yes i know he looks very young. he is just 4 years older than me.

showing everyone a photo montage that i made. quite a few of them cried while watching. :p

actually i am also on the verge of tearing. haiz too emotional. really went through alot with these kids. they are my biggest joy. they are my pride.

here's the photo montage if you wanna watch:

some of them stayed behind to dance the whole performance again. :)

the chinese dance item. even the boys and malay dancers also joined in to dance. quite hilarious. hahaha.

and of course must take photos with some particular students:

jean, the grown up version of iris (the name of the female lead in my dance drama production)

peishi, the rope skipper, from my form class last year. i still teach her class chemistry.

chun ying, the main female lead.

and so this concludes B2B - LIVING IT! LOVING IT!

Be, to become who you want to be.

The CHOICE is yours~

more photos!

hi darling! hahahahaha. din know you are so camera sensitive. the ang mor beside you got flirt with you a not?

my student from malay dance.

pictures of performance night on 15th July

mr nzj, does this pose look familiar? :p

this is really one of the proudest moment of my life. :)

actually i watched the video already. darling is correct, there are many teething issues throughout the dance drama production. but these pple are after all secondary students, therefore most importantly they enjoy performing on stage and they are closely bonded.

it really brings me joy, and a great sense of accomplishment.
