dinner cum supper @ esplanade glutton's bay

lessons supposed to end at 530, but it drag until 545. *gggrrrrrrrr*

so i have to rush back to hall, have a quick shower, and rush down to asian civilisation museum for the qing item blocking. for those non-dancers, blocking means 在台上走位, so that we know where to stand, and where to move such that we wun clash with other dancers. the blocking starts at 7 pm, and i only took the bus at 605 pm, so this means i will be late, and i also have to skip my dinner.

the stage is very small, and the floor is quite slippery. and i realise that for museum performances, we must perform in front of a backdrop. previously when we performed at nus museum, we performed in front of a big chinese calligraphy backdrop. now we are performing in front of a super big portrait of kang xi.

after the blocking, some of us went to esplanade glutton's bay for dinner cum supper.

while eating, ms tan zn commented that my style of blogging always the same.

is always:

1 - today, i go to blah blah

2 - and then describe a bit about the blah blah place

3 - here are the pics

so she ask me why i nv take pics at the museum, then when i blog, i can say:

today i went to asian civilisation museum for blocking. the museum is very nice. the qing dynasty exhibits are damn historic but damn cool.

here are the pics:

sorry i couldnt find a picture of kangxi doing hip hop. it will be damn historic and cool isnt it??

ok nvm.

then she say i can blog more about feelings.

and so, here are my feelings:

last year during DR, out of the 4 items i am dancing in, i enjoyed dancing in qing nan the most. firstly is because of the very nice costume. secondly is the very nice music. and lastly, some movements are quite wushu which i really really like.

so i am very happy to be able to dance in this item again, and some more dance in a museum, which is holding a very grand qing dynasty exhibition, as shown by the publicity on the newspapers and internet. and i am very very curious that how in the earth do the organisers noe that nuscd got dance the qing items??!! this is amazing.

after dancing for close to 2 years with nuscd, i found myself getting more and more attached to the dance troupe, and also to the pple. this can be shown by myself bothering to go and find out who the new exco is. because i think the choosing of exco is very important. with a strong exco, the 凝聚力 of the pple in the troupe will be very strong, and when 凝聚力 is strong, every impossible thing in the world can be done, everyone will be damn onz about practises, and stay through late in the middle of the night just to perfect moves and timing.

and after saying all these, i got a question: IS SOMEONE DESIGNING A NUSCD T-SHIRT??

must design one lah, then make for everybody. at least it will be a good souvenir for each of us, when we finally retire from the troupe one day.

hope that's enough feelings.
