hong kong day 2
good morning darling! i miss you! the mirror looks dirty but is not dirty. the spots are water because i just brushed my teeth and washed my face. :p
oh yah i haven show you all photos of the small pathetic toilet. so i am going to show you now.
the toilet bowl is so near to the sink that i can shit and brush my teeth at the same time.
shower cubicle also quite small but at least is better than the one at casa hotel (the one that i stayed at last year with hw, nzj and xue hong). at casa hotel the shower head is above the toilet bowl. i can bathe and shit at the same time. toilets at hong kong hotels are so interesting~
one useful thing that army taught me is to use a particular equipment for different innovative purposes. hahahahaha.
first thing in the morning i went over to their hotel room to meet them and we are having dim sum for breakfast! last year we ate this really good dim sum at 稻香, so we are going to this restaurant again. let me show you a pic for old time's sake.
however nzj's ipad showed us a different branch so we went to that place instead of the usual place that we went last year.
the unanimous conclusion from the 3 of us is that the dim sum from this branch is definitely lower in standard compared to the one we had last year. we were a bit disappointed. so we promised ourselves to eat dim sum at the branch last year to redeem our taste buds, to 找回那个失去的味觉. si bei cheena-piang rite?
after lunch we went to IMAX theatre to watch Super 8.
my first movie watching experience in hong kong! and it is at IMAX theatre! damn cool! thank you nzj for buying the tickets online!
and then is shopping shopping shopping! we shop until super thirsty with aching legs so we went to the supermarket to get some drinks. and i saw this:
how come hong kong has 5 different flavours of minute maid??!! why sg has only 2 different flavours??!! not fair! i am going to complain to the Minister of F&B!!!
and we end the night with fabulous supper at our favourite satay king restaurant.
i can hear moaning sounds of a woman and i feel quite disturbed. what a happening hotel.
