dragged my tired body down to the restaurant for breakfast. have no appetite to eat because i am still very full from the crab and spicy seafood steamboat. :p
but i still force myself to eat a little so that i wun get very hungry later.
so this is the final day at korea. everybody was happy and sad. happy because we can go back to sg and see our loved ones. sad because korea is really an awesome place and all of us had really bonded. we initially feared that there will be clashes or some form of ostracisation among the 3 different groups, but thank goodness nothing of that sort happened. everybody got to know each other better throughout this 5 days.
let me show you the unity of everyone, on the bus:
this was taken on day 2. one hour before we reach the school i will play the cd for them in the bus to let them recap their steps for the performance.
and then on day 3, i played a cd that has all the national day songs including stand up for singapore, together, where i belong, etc etc. eudora brought it along and dun ask me why she brought it. its really cool to hear everyone singing all these songs together inside the bus. the atmosphere was really great. :)
the first place that we visited today is Gyeongbuk Palace. this is the main palace of ancient korea since 14th century, well-known home of korea's most beautiful pavilion and traditional garden.
next, we drove pass the Presidential Blue House, and visited the Presidential Museum.
and then its lunch! grilled saba fish! very very nice! not forgetting the usual dosage of kimchi and assorted dishes. :)
after lunch is one hour of shopping at Shinchon University Streets. the shopping here is more for girls because located near this shopping street is Ewha Woman's University. i bought a wristlet and a pair of kawaii socks for darling over here. :)
and then we went to this supermarket to buy last min shopping of groceries. this is a place to go to on your last day when you haven get any local products for your friends and relatives. buy 5 packets get 1 free packet. packaging is FOC. but the prices are quite expensive. i strongly recommend NOT to buy. of course i din buy anthing.
finally we reach incheon airport to catch our flight back to sg. bid our last farewell to peter.
we went inside the departure transit area. i went to do some last min shopping and bought a box of the 白色恋人, korean version. hahaha.
and then, we saw something, or should i say somebody....
immediately we went around to mingle with them and take photos with them. really very fun. :)
after all the fun and drama we went to our departure gate for boarding. and while waiting the special boys took some more pics...

this has been a really great trip. i will like to thank everyone - bus driver, tour guide, tour leader, teachers and students, for the wonderful memories. yes korea is a nice country to visit. but the company is what make the trip so memorable. i really enjoyed the great company, especially the special ones for entertaining me throughout this whole trip. its always i entertain pple but this time round i got entertained more. hahahahaha.
