kyoto day 3

got up in the morning feeling much better! yayyyyyyy~ 

we went to arashimaya today, which in my opinion is the best place of kyoto that i had visited so far. 

i shall let the pictures do the talking. 

Togetsu Bridge

Tenryu-ji Temple. 天龙寺。A world heritage site. 

Sogenchi Garden. 


Okochi Sanso Villa, belongs to a popular actor Okochi (1896 - 1962). admission fee is 1000 yen, which includes a green tea and the snack. the green tea is damn good!

a shrine for Okochi to do his meditation and to gain inspiration. 
  

and how can we not visit the popular bamboo forest of arashimaya. 

the view in the day. 

the view at night, which is illuminated with golden lights. it was really beautiful. the illumination will only take place during the winter period of the year. 11 dec to 20 dec 2015. we are pretty lucky to catch it! :)
