wednesday post

went back to tpss for the last time in 2015. 

got a surprise when my head of arts comm, shin shin, passed me a card. she said she asked all the arts comm colleagues to write something for me. so sweet of her. :)

shin shin: dear yuanyan, thank you for all your contribution towards arts comm since entering tpss! your passion and performance will be remembered by many students and staff. all the best and do take care. 

wan ting, who is getting married today: dear yuanyan, thank you for being like a mentor during our BT years. thank you for always roping me into 'lobangs' and giving me credit for work done by you. it is not easy to find a good working partner and thank you for finding me. may your career be smooth sailing in the new school and you will be remembered with your signature pose. your contributions to the school will not be erased. 加油！

joanne: dear yuanyan, thank you for your guidance and patience. it has been a pleasure and joy working with you. all the best in your new school! you will definitely be missed by students and colleagues. 

dalillah, who has tendered her resignation and her last day will be end of jan: hey mr tan yy, wishing you all the best in your new school. i am sure you will do well! no sweat! 

yoke leng: hi yuanyan, thanks for your guidance and patience. you are a colleague whom all tpss teachers will never forget and we will miss your laughter and humour. all the best to you and continue to follow your passion. 

badriah: dear yuanyan, thank you for all the things you have done in tpss and helping to make things so much easier by being involved. all the best in your new school! keep the passion alive!

suma: hey yy, thanks for being the poster boy of performing arts. wishing you success in your new venture. 

mdm chong mong leng, hod of mother tongue, who is also my senior from cchsm: dear yuanyan, thank you for being a champion in performing arts!

and of course have to take some farewell photos with my beloved pe colleagues. 

we are known as the 四大天王/四大护法 of the pe dept. i believe that it is us who make the pe dept so dynamic and we set a strong culture in the pe dept and good role models for the future pe teachers who come in after us to follow. 

the day ended with a gathering at aloha loyang, invited by my ex colleague, mr john lim. mr john lim is the head of tpss alumni (he was an ex student of tpss), who is now posted to a sch in the east as the SH of geography. 

happy to see him and the students again after so long! tpss will always hold a fond position in my heart. thank you tpss for all the fond memories. 

and now it is time for me to contribute to my new workplace, admiralty secondary school. 

i have been appointed as the year manager for sec 2. i am one of the teachers in-charge for modern dance cca. and i am the form teacher of 2E2. looking forward to the first day of school!
